Sophia POV

I've been trying to focus on the history lesson but I couldn't. I was nervous about Jason, the white haired boy sitting next to me. I can feel his eyes burning holes into me. I tried not to look at him but I couldn't. I glanced at him and he was staring at me. He looked angry for some weird reason. I look at the clock, praying that the period would go by faster. The period was almost over and I couldn't wait to get this day over with.

The bell rang and I quickly got up and shoved my stuff in to my bag and quickly made my escape passed the doors, not giving Jason another look. I sigh as I made my way to my locker. Taking out the books I need, I head towards my class, spending the day wondering why he was looking at me so deviously.

The day was soon over and I headed home. I headed to my room and changed my pants to sweats and did my homework.

I finished my homework and I went downstairs and slumped into the sofa. I turned on the TV and I began to flip through the channels. There wasn't anything interesting on so I flipped the channel to SpongeBob Squarepants. That show never gets old!

My dad was at work and my mom was in the kitchen, fixing us both something to eat.

"How was school, Sophia?" Asked my mother while sitting next to me on the sofa with 2 plates of pasta.

"The usual" I sigh. "But there is this new boy in my class." I say while digging in to the pasta.

"Ohh. Is he cute?" My mom said while winking.

"Mom!" I exclaim. "Embarrassing much??" I sigh. "Yeah, he is cute but he looks like he doesn't like me. He just glares at me" I explain while making the same face he made.

"Ey, then just ignore him. You're too good for someone like that" my mom said while pinching my cheeks.

I smile and nod. My mom is wonderful. I love my parents so very much. They always help and support me.

"Thanks mom" I say and head upstairs.

I sit on my bed and look through my phone, playing games, trying to kill time. I played a few games on the computer and by 8:30 I headed to the bathroom to take a shower. I finished my shower and changed into my t-shirt, shorts and undergarments that I brought with me into the bathroom.

I threw my clothes in o the laundry bin that is in the bathroom and it was already 9:00. Bed time. I quickly went downstairs to the kitchen and get a drink of water before heading to my bed. My dad was already home and my parents were already asleep. I turned off the kitchen light and headed towards my room. I entered my room and closed the door. It was chilly in my room and noticed that the window was open.

I'm pretty sure it was closed. I close the window and turn around. I stifle a scream when i see Jason standing in my room. "What is it?" I exclaimed, surprised and frightened. Jason glared at me while pushing me against the wall. "How did you get in here" I whispered furiously at the stranger that has snuck into my room. "Why is a vampire here?" asked Jason furiously. "There aren't any vampires out here for miles. What. Are. You. Doing. Here?!" he asked obnoxiously.

"What are you talking about? I'm not a vampire you crazy freak! My parents are completely normal so I'm normal too" I explained confused. Apparently he reads a lot of comic books. He pressed closer against me, I gasped when his hands snaked their way from my waist to my throat. "Tell me the truth!" He hissed, tightening his grip. I gasped and choked while gripping his wrists trying to break free. "I'm telling the truth! I s-seriously don't kn-know!" I whispered losing air fast. I glared at Jason, right back into his cold, dark eyes.

He let go. I rubbed my neck still glaring at him.

"Fine. I'll ask nicely. What are you doing here? Why aren't you with the rest of the clan? Vampires aren't supposed to be separated." He said.

This guys is just irritating me.

"I don't know what you're talking about. Vampires aren't real. I'm not a vampire. My parents aren't vampires. Im completely normal, especially over here" I said pointing towards my head.

"Your parents are normal, but your not. Your a vampire" he said trying to convince me.

"How am I a vampire? How can you prove that?" I asked.

"Forget it. Do you want some juice?" He asked.

"Um, ok?" I reply unsure why he asked me that out of the blue.

He took out a silver pouch of juice with a straw. The wired thing was that the pouch had no company label. I take it from him and pierce the pouch with the straw. He stares at me intently as I bring the straw to my lips. I take a sip and it was a little sweet but delicious. I close my eyes as I drink but stop when I realize that I can't figure out what flavor it is.

"Is it good?" Asked Jason.

I slowly nod. "But... What flavor is it?" I ask while smacking my lips from the juice.

"It's blood." He replied.

"W-what?!" I exclaim.

I squeeze the pouch and out of the straw came out a red liquid substance. I drop the pouch, shocked by what had happened.

"I-it can't be blood. It tasted good?" I mutter.

Blood isn't supposed to taste good.

"How else can you prove that I'm a vampire?" I whisper nervously.

"How old are you?" He asked.

"I'm 16." I say. "I just turned 16."

"You'll see soon" he replied.

He walked towards my window and opened it.

"W-wait!" I exclaim. "I'm still confused."

"I'll come back tomorrow" he whispered and left.

I run towards the window and don't see him any where. I exhale, my breath was shaky. What's happening?

I close the window and close the lights. I collapse in to me bed. If I wake up, things should be back the same way they were before. There is absolutely no such thing as a vampire! Is there? I slowly close my eyes and fall into a deep slumber.
