yeseul's point of view.
we arrived at the meat restaurant not too long since it's close to my apartment. we took a seat and ordered 2 sets of meat. "are you and that barista boy close?" jihoon asked without leaving his eyes from his phone. i got startled by the question and blinked. "oh- well no. we're not close." i said firmly. "it looks like you guys are close though." he replied me, now looking at me. i laughed and said, "no. we're not close and can we stop talking about him?" he smiled and ruffled my hair.

i huffed and fixed my hair. "you keep doing that. why?" i asked him, annoyed. he laughed at me and answered, "you look cute when you're mad." i flicked his forehead. he rubbed his forehead and pouted. "ow- you're mean." i sticked my tongue out at him. we continued to joke around until i saw something unbelievable.

i saw two figures who looked oddly familiar. i stared at them, trying to remember who they were. i gasped in shocked. i finally remember who they were. it was my ex-boyfriend and his friend. holy fuck. i accidentally kicked jihoon, who was grilling the meat, and he looked at me like i'm crazy. "why did you suddenly kick me yah. are you possessed?!" he said. he saw me staring at them and punched me in surprised. "yah why!!" i glared at him. "is that who i think it is?" he asked me in disbelief. i nodded in reply. "shocking isn't it? i thought they went away to america or something." i rolled my eyes and decided to play my phone.

jihoon widened his eyes and said, "yah yeseul they're-" he didn't get to finish since someone cut him off. "hello there yeseul. it's nice to see you here." i could hear the smirk in his voice even though we didn't talk for a year. i looked up and faked a smile. "oh hello there park jimin. it's very nice to see you here too." you could hear the sarcasm even from a mile away. jimin rolled his eyes. "still sarcastic as hell hm. you didn't change." i rolled my eyes in annoyance. "oh look mr park jimin, i really want to enjoy my meal right now but your sudden existence is making me lose my appetite. now shoo." i shooed him away. "we'll be seeing each other a lot now though so heh." he shrugged and went away. i saw jungkook who was still standing and i smiled a bit at him. as he was about to leave, i grabbed his wrist and said, "hey. let's hangout soon okay?" he nodded and smiled happily in return. i waved at him as i heard jimin calling jungkook. he left and i felt peace now.

jihoon suddenly put a piece of meat in my plate and said, "eat." i forgot i was with jihoon for a second since he kept silent when i was having a very 'delightful' conversation with mr park jimin. i smiled brightly and took the piece of meat happily. we finished our food and decided to go home.
