Sweat dripped down my body as I ran further into the forest. A cold wind brushed against my skin, sending a shiver down my spine. As I stop to catch my breath, I heard a cry, at first I thought I was hearing thing, so I continued running but then I stopped I had heard the cry again, I listened very carefully. Whenever I heard the cry I walked towards it, I felt a little skeptical about it, as I got closer the crying got louder. I walked into a small cave and saw a basket, I went closer and stopped. I looked down and picked up the baby girl and whispered "your so tiny" I looked around to see if I could see anyone, but there was no sign. I looked down to the cutest thing I've ever seen and decided to take her with me, she had stopped crying, she just looked up and stared at me. I picked up the blanket that was in the basket and wrapped the tiny baby girl up, she didn't seem to mind. It was a little chill out but I was trying my best to keep her warm. When I got home, I took a blanket and blocked her into a little corner to look for some baby formula, I should have some, my sister has a one year old and they come over a lot. I saw the formula and scrambled for it I quickly made a bottle for the baby. I walked over to were I left her and picked her up, when I started to feed her, she gulped down the formula I less than a minute. I whispered to her "you must really be hungry". Her eyes sparkled like the moon at night her hair was a perfect glow. After she finished her bottle, I rocked her for a couple of minutes until she fell asleep. I took her to my room after she fell asleep, and I put her in the middle, taking a few pillows I blocked the edges so she can't fall. I left her in my room as I did the dishes, and took a shower. When I came out of the shower I heard a knock at the door, still in my towel, I walked up to door I opened it and my sister barged in. I stood at the door and looked at her, she placed Noah, her son onto the kitchen table and started talking. I told her to be quite and she looked at me in shock. "Why" she said while Picking up Noah to put him in a crib she had brought with her. I looked at my room door and back at her. Never mind I said I walked into my room and closed my door gently. My sister was a single mom, she got pregnant after having a one night stand. I was never disappointed I was more excited because I loved babies, and the fact that she was pregnant made me happy for her. After I put my clothes on I was worried to tell my sister but then I faced it, and walked out my room I told her what happened and after telling her she was silent for a moment, then she asked if she could see the baby I said "yes" and pointed to my room door. When she came out of my room she asked me if I'm gonna keep her, I
looked up at her and I shrugged my shoulders.
My sister came and sat next to me she gently grabbed my hand and caressed it. She looked into my eyes and smiles. It's okay if you want to keep her she said looking at me and smiling. I looked at her and gave her a big smile. I want to keep her but I'm not sure I'll be able to handle it. I looked at my sister who gave me a gentle smile, your the most level headed and smart person I know you can handle it. I stood up and walked to my room door quickly, I heard her crying, I gently picked her up and cradled her back and forth. I felt amazing even though I met her a few hours ago, I had already loved her.
