As I ran through the woods I wondered if would ever see him again, if I made it out alive. All I had to do was, to keep breathing.
I jolted awake. The beautiful scenery of the dream did nothing to mask the horror of it. I was curious as to who the boy I thought of was, and about who I was running from. I walked out of my bedroom shellshocked.
I walked down the stairs to my kitchen, and then abruptly stopped deciding that I wasn't hungry. Then I went up stairs to my bedroom and changed into a pair of jeans and a Breaking Benjamin T-shirt. Finally I went down stairs and to a restaurant to meet up with friends.
"Hey Ana!", Oliver yelled from across the room. Let me describe Oliver for you. He's tall, athletic, has big blue eyes, and jet black hair.
"Hey Olly, guys.", I said pulling out a chair beside Anthony. I grabbed a slice of pizza and stole some of Anthony's soda.
"Hey! Anastasia that's mine.", Anthony complained.
"You know you don't care. If you were really mad you wouldn't say anything, you would just stare off into space. And you would be very moody for the rest of the day.", I said returning his soda.
"Well fine I guess you're right. Hey, if you want I can get you a soda.", he said.
"Sure. Thanks. Can you get me a blue raspberry fizz.", I responded happily.
He came back a few minutes later, and Oliver had eaten all of the pizza on his plate and Anthony's. I sat there listening to them argue about the evilness of stealing other's pizza and wondered suddenly who that person was.
But then my question was answered as the man who was literally from my dreams strode in through the door of the restaurant. I gaped at him, and then stopped, horrified of the thought of him catching me staring.
"Hey.", said a deep voice at my shoulder. "Have I seen you somewhere before?", he asked. Then I realised that it might be possible that he had a dream like me.
I reminded myself to breathe and then I said, "I don't believe so, but maybe we have seen each other at school. Do you go to Pleasant Grove State?" It was very nerve wracking. I know that I should have said something about the dream, but I was nervous and a little confused. Well, possibly I was more than just a little confused.
"Yeah I do actually. I'm guessing you do too.", he responded will a dazzling smile. "Do we have any classes together?", he asked as a girl our age started walking towards us.
"Yeah I think we have two.",and then I stuck my hand out and said, "My name is Anastasia Garner."
He took my hand and replied, "My name is Aiden Coal."
"Hey Aiden! What are you doing?", said the girl that walked in with him. She was the girl from every guy's dreams (figuratively). Blonde hair bright blue eyes and a super slim figure. I looked like nothing next to her with my straight black hair and leaf green eyes. I looked to much like my dad for my own good.
"Hi Courtney. I was just talking to Anastasia.", he said visibly irritated. She looked me over and smiled slightly obviously appeased by my simple looks.
"Come on Addy. We are late for that thing at my aunt's house.", Courtney said with a smile as real as crocodile tears.
"Can I have your number?", Aiden whispered in my ear.
"Yeah here.", I said grabbing one of my copics from my purse. He flipped over his hand I wrote the familiar number on his palm.
"Thanks.", he said.
"No problem. I'll see you at school Monday Aiden.", I shrugged turning around towards my friends.
"Goodbye Anastasia.", he responded making me feel lighter than air.
