We walked out to Aiden's car and he drove out of the parking lot. I gave him directions my now empty apartment. It takes about fifteen minutes to get to my house from the hospital, but he took a wrong turn. We sat in silence until my one of my favorite bands started playing on the radio and I started humming."You sound pretty good.", he said breaking the almost silence.
"Thanks.", I replied blushing.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to embarrass you.", he looking apologetic.
We pulled into my driveway and he handed me a slip of paper.
Then he said, "Call me if you need me. Okay?"
"Yeah okay.", I responded with a sad smile.
"I'll call you later Anastasia. Bye.", Aiden said getting into his car. I walked up my driveway and unlocked the door with the spare key behind the light. I went inside and I grabbed the coffee from the cabinet and brewed a pot. I walked upstairs and fed my eels that were somehow still alive. I went upstairs and looked in the mirror. I was a mess my hair was wild and I had stitches along my left temple. I grabbed my hairbrush from under the sink I attempted to brush it through, but it pulled my stitches so I tucked it into a braid.
