The block was lite up by the moons as the suns had gone down. The birds chirped sweetly fluttering by the window. Equius yawned squeakily as he awoke, he smiled seeing his new family sleeping around him. He kissed horuss' cheek before kissing rufioh's. After he got up and ran to the window watching the birdies fly by his blue blanket in his grasp. He giggled softly and held his other hand out giggling again when a pretty blue bird landed in his hand. He used a tiny finger to pet the small animal. He squeaked softly when he felt two hands on his shoulders. he looked up to see a smiling horuss and rufioh. Equius smiled back, "Hiya mister blue man, hello mister fairy man!" He squeaked happily. Horuss and rufioh smiled wider "hello equius." Horuss replied. Rufioh used his other hand to pat equius' head "sup lil man." He said with a goofy smile. Horuss smiled and picked up equius. "let's go little one, you need a bath, your filthy." He stated walking to the bathroom. He sat equius on the toilet moving fill the tub with warm water, since their blood colour was the same he knew what was warm enough for the young wriggler. Equius was watching horuss curiously, horuss smiled and turned around to him, he walked over to him and began to take off his clothes. Equius squeaked in suprise, "m-mister blue man, w-what are you doing?" he asked softly looking up at horuss from behind his glasses. horuss smiled "undressing you for you bath." he said amusedly "bath?" Equius asked with a head tilt. horuss chuckled and nodded, he picked up the young wriggler and set him gently into the tub. Equius purred at the warm water, it felt really nice as he felt the dirt and grime on him be washed away with the water. It was nice, fresh, clean. He could defintely get used to such a feeling. horuss picked up a metal cup filling it up with the water before pouring it over equius head and hair placing a hand in front of equius' eyes to keep the water from getting in them. Equius squealed before giggling and splashing the water. Horuss laughed and attempted to shield himself from the splashing water. He laughed and grabbed the shampoo and conditioner globbing them into his hands before scrubbing it into equius' long black hair, "I might have Rufioh cut your hair it is quite long." he said mostly to himself. Equius didn't answer only purred at the feeling his head leaning up into horuss' large hands. Rufioh popped his head into the room along with a towel "I heard my name?" he said questioningly, placing the towel on the sink. "yes, I was thinking about having you touch up on equius' hair, it is quite long." Rufioh nodded, "I'll get things set up." he said before dashing away. He turned back to equius, picking up a rug and getting it wet and soapy with body wash before washing off equius' tiny body. He moved back afterward to allow equius to play in the water a bit, "im going to go get you some clothes you just play in the water until then." he told him before walking out of the room. Equius looked around at the tub, he saw this little rubber quack beast toy and a little boat he smiled and picked them up splashing them in the water crying out things in wriggle language, which was basically made up of click, whirls, churls and trills. Horuss soon arrived with some of his clothes he wore as a wriggler. He sat them down next to him on the sink before grabbing the towel and pulling the plug to the tub. Equius pouted watching the water drain away. He looked up at horuss holding his arms up. Horuss wrapped the towel around him picking him up. Equius purred snuggling into the blanket enjoying the warm fuzzy feeling of it. Horuss sat on the toilet drying him off before grabbing the clothes dressing him, they were alittle big but that was ok. The outfit was a pair of short overalls with a blue and white cow print on it on the patch in the middle of his chest was his sign he wore tiny little shoes with blue bows on it, he even had a little red collar with a cow bell on it. He placed back on equius, glasses before picking him up again and taking him to where rufioh was. The mudblood looked over at the two smiling, "heya lil' dude ya ready to get your hair done?" he asked excitedly equius frowned and looked over at horuss with an uncertain look on his face. Horuss smiled at him reassuringly "don't worry it wont hurt I promise" equius slowly nodded. Horuss sat him in the seat before moving back watching them. Rufioh grabbed a cutting cape putting it on equius before grabbing a brush and comb, brushing out equius' hair before swapping out the brush for a pair of scissors, cutting equius' hair. He hummed softly as he did. Equius watched him through the mirror. Soon it was all finished. Rufioh brushed equius' shoulder length hair before talking off the cape and helping him out of the chair. "hungwy" Equius squeaked out, "your hungry?" rufioh asked. He nodded horuss smiled getting an idea "would you like to make cookies?" Rufioh smiled excitedly "cookies!" equius nodded despite not knowing what cookies were. Horuss picked up equius again putting him on his back before walking to the kitchen. He sat him down on the counter and grabbed a cook book he started calling out ingredients Rufioh flew around the kitchen grabbing said ingredients equius looks between the two of them with wide curious gray grub eyes behind his shades. rufioh smiled and handed equius a big bowl and a large spoon. "'ere we are gonna pour all the cookie mix into this." equius nodded putting the bowl on the counter next to him putting the spoon into the bowl. Horuss walked over and put down the ingredients needed to make cookies. He unfolded a piece of paper and read off step by step, rufioh helping equius follow said steps. "first we need to pour 1/2 of sugar into a bowl and add 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the sugar before blending it all together," Horuss told them, rufioh measured 1/2 cup of sugar before handing it to equius to pour it into the bowl. rufioh then added the butter and blended it all together. "next, add one egg and one teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix it with the blend." Rufioh did all that equius watched bouncing wanting to help more. Rufioh chuckled at the wriggler's antics "calm do lil dude soon jus' let me take care of the liquid ingredients ok?" he offered him. Equius pouted but nodded slowly. Horuss cleared his throat and read the next step, "now, in another bowl, mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 1/2 cups of flour." rufioh nodded pouring the correct measurements before adding one by one to equius. Equius laughed and added the flour to fast causing him, rufioh and horuss to be doused in flour. They all stood there shocked before equius started laughing loudly, rufioh joining in before all three of them were laughing loudly. He walked over to the oven preheating it to 350 degrees, "mix those two bowls together" he said chuckling softly still. Rufioh nodded doing so, horuss grabbed two cooki cookie trays and set them down on the table before spraying them with non-stick spray. He walked over to equius taking the flour covered wriggler to the table. Rufioh walked over with the mixed dough. Horuss walked back to the counter getting cookie cutters before walking back to the table "rufioh, could you get the flour and the paper sheets and cover the table with the sheets before spreading out flour on said sheets?" he asked him as he picked up a rolling pin. Rufioh did just that as equius watched them bouncing with excitement in his seat. Horuss put the dough on the table pulling it into three parts before rolling all three out placing one in front of rufioh one in front of equius and the last part in front of himself. He sat down and smiled getting equius' attention "now you take these cutters here to cut your cookies into shapes like this," he said showing equius how to cute the cookies, taking the cookie and setting it one the tray. "now you try" He told him, rufioh was already cutting out his cookies, equius giggled happily and did as told, "lookie lookie!" he squealed out pointing to the cookie proudly. Rufioh and horuss clapped "good job" they told him with excitement and praise in their voices. Equius squeal with happiness and continued doing that. Every time a tray was full horuss would take it and put in the oven for 12 minutes before letting the cookies cool for 5 before moving them to a stand to continue cooling so they could continue using the tray, they did that until all the dough was used up. Equius smiled up at them covered head to toe in flour and dough. They weren't much cleaner themselves. They chuckled and cleaned up the supplies before taking out icing and sprinkles and a couple butter knives. He picked up one of the cookies and grabbed the knife for the blue icing he showed equius how to ice the cookie and how to put sprinkles on said cookie, before putting it on the rack. Equius smiled and did as horuss instructed, rufioh iced his own cookies. After a hour filled with laughter, giggles and sweet icing, all the cookies were done, all three of the trolls were covered in flour, dough, icing, and sprinkles. Horuss laughed, "i think we need to have another bath. Rufioh laughed as equius cheered, horuss took equius and rufioh followed they all hopped in the bath washing off. In ruifoh and Horuss' room they were drying off the young wriggler. Equius let out a high pitched yawned snuggling into ruifoh's arms once the three of them were dressed. Rufioh chuckled, "tired lil' man?" Equius nodded again. "i wove you bof" he said before falling asleep in the brownblood's arms. Rufioh and horuss chuckled laying in the bed, they shared a kiss and exchanged 'i love yous' before falling into a peaceful cookie filled slumber.
