The sky was alight with the pink and green moons as Equius sat up yawning. He had now been living with Horuss and Rufioh for a couple months now. His feet made a soft pitter patter as he walked out carrying his blue blanket with him like always. He looked up to see Rufioh sand Hourss at the table talking to each other. There were tons of papers and flyers spread all around the table in a messy, yet somehow still organized manner. The two grown trolls seem to be debating on something of most likely importance. Equius decided it was probably best if he left the two alone for the time being. Walking away, the young Sagittarius, using the least amount of his strength possible, hoisted himself up in the widow sill to stare outside at all the wildlife crawling around outside.
He must have dozed off or something of the like as he didn't notice Rufioh calling his name until the brown blood set his hand on Equius' head ruffling his hair causing the wriggler to cry out in surprise jumping, and spinning around to look up at him. Rufioh let out a soft, yet apologetic laugh as he removed his hand, "heh sorry lil' one but Horuss and I need to ask you to help us in making a decision." He said giving the wriggler a soft smile. Equius nodded slowly, his wide grey eyes staring up at the brown blood, before he held his arms up wanting to be carried. Rufioh happily complied with the wrigglers request. He scooped up the small troll walking back to the table sitting him atop the table after moving papers away so he could. He then took his seat next to Horuss, who of which was reading over some of the papers, all the papers in a couple of piles. Equius grabbed one attempting to read it like the grown up trolls, but it proved to be fruitless, he couldn't read and he knew it. Pouting he set the paper back down looking up at the two grown trolls waiting for them to explain what this was all about. Being a wriggler, he didn't have much patience so he was already super bored.
"Equius, do you know what school is?" Horuss asked looking down at Equiuss once noticing the wrigglers piercing gaze. He went to nod but ended up shaking it as all he knew of the word was what he had heard older wrigglers say when they crossed his old box. Horuss gave Equius a soft smile explaining to him it was a place he would go to to learn stuff and make new friends. Both of those things sounded like a lot of fun to Equius. "Do I get to go there?" He excited excitement in his eyes and tone. The enthusiasm, amused Horuss and Rufioh, the latter murmuring "man I sure wish I was that excited for school when I was younger." provoking a laugh from Horuss and confusing Equius, as the brown blood pouted. "Yes of course Equius, that is what we are talking about right now, what school to send you too." Equius tilted his head to the side "There's many schools?" He asked in which Horuss nodded and Rufioh explained how they were all over Alternia, and how there were schools for just, land dwellers, for just sea dwellers, for both. And schools for only a certain blood colour, some where there are only low or high of mid bloods and how there were schools with all blood colours. "so since there are so many schools we thought we could ask you what type of school you would like to go to." Rufioh said finishing the two older trolls' explanation.
Equius blinked and looked at all the pictures of the many different buildings. He blinked again holding up one picture. The school wasn't to big, nor was it too small. And based on the surroundings it looked close to Equius' hive, he really liked that idea. And that meant lots of different trolls would be there probably, meaning he could hopefully make lots of friends. He held up the picture to Rufioh and Horuss. Horuss took it, "Is this where you'd like to go?" He asked, in which Equius nodded quickly. Rufioh took the paper, "OH! I went here as a wriggler, this school is so good, and they are all nice there." He said smiling widely. "When I go?" Equius asked "Tomorrow, but for today I must go get you registered and get you classes as well as materials." Horuss said, gathering his things kissing both Rufioh and Equius' cheeks before leaving. Equius and Rufioh watched the older blue blood leave before looking at each other. "You wanna know all about Skiya Academy, doll?" He asked sitting down and setting Equius in his lap. Equius looked up at him and nodded quickly smiling happily. Rufioh smiled and closed his eyes as he started his tales and adventures with his friends at school.
