"Alright, (Y/n). Here are the keys. I'll be back really soon." Zizi said dropping them into your hands. "Those Zygons are going to get what's coming to them if they think that they can cheapskates me out of some Zulo berries."

You giggled at the Chevin's determination. "Okay, Mom. Can I open up shop?"

"Huh," she said snapping out of her thoughts. "Well..."

"Mom." You whined. "I've been practicing non-stop and I've even run a few shifts on my own too! Please, Mom!" You begged.

"Alright..."

"Yes!"

"But remember..." Zizi started.

"Save the good stuff for regulars, always perform your best, and no rough housing unless if the touch you or threaten to steal." You cut her off.

"Ahhh," Zizi smiled with some tears in her eyes. "My baby is growing up so fast."

You hugged her around her trunk and kissed it. "I won't let you down!"

"Alright, my child. I should get going if I am going to make it a back before rush hour."

"Okay." You pouted. "Be safe!" You called after her as she soon became a part of the flowing stream of people.

You gave a quick glance upward as a few dim rays of sunshine hit down around you from the cracks in the upper levels of Coruscant. Smiling, you turned your face to your adoptive mother's bar. You don't know why but since the day, Zizi brought you to her bar you knew that you had a destiny here. As your mother, Zizi was resistant but eventually gave you proper training as a bartender. You were excited to get a chance to prove all that you had learned to her. Even if it was just half a day of running it by yourself.

Sliding the keycard, you opened up the front door and hurried inside as it slammed shut behind you.

The bar was relatively large for most in the area. A few booths along the rim, circular tables and chairs in the middle, large screens on all of the walls. And last but not least, the actual bar counter on the entire left side.

You took a deep breath as you begin to do some chores before you opened up to the public at around 12:00. You took all the chairs off of the tables and counters, washed the table tops, turned on all the screens to the channels that were playing the big games today and turned on the flashing lights your mother recently got.

You checked the clock under the bar counter. 11:30 AM.

You sighed as the back door slid open to reveal a light green and yellow tipped Twi'lek.

"Hey, Nova!" You called.

"Sup (Y/n). Where's Zizi?" The chief asked hopping over the bar next to you.

"Well..."

"Zulo berries?" He asked.

"Zulo berries."

"Well, I'm going to fire up the-"

"Already done." You said cutting him off.

He crossed his arms. "Well, what about-"

"Yup. "

"Or the-"

"I set everything up, big brother." You said smirking with confidence.

"When did you get here?" He frowned.
