Getting Together

Red's POV

I spin around in my chair, in my office and sigh. My feelings are eating me up.

I through the window in my office into Barney's office. By the look of it, he's playing GTA V. I see him laugh and smile. I giggle.

I wish I could tell him how I feel. But I can't. I'm too shy. I don't want to ruin our friendship.

He doesn't like me anyways! I turn away from the window and run my fingers through my hair.

Then Tim comes by and mouths through the window, 'Just talk to him!'

I mouth back, 'I can't!' He frowns and walks away. This sucks.

Barney's POV

In the corner of my eye, I see an familiar cute red head staring at me. I smile and act like I don't notice.

I wish I could go up to him and kiss him right then and there. But I can't. Who knows if he's gay?!?

I don't want to ruin our friendship if he's not!

"Hey Barney you okay?" I hear Adam ask me through my head set.

Crap. I forgot I was in the middle of an recording.

"Uhhh yeah I'm okay....barley..." I mumble the last part. I hear him sigh. "Is it about Red??" My face goes pink.

"PFFT! NAW!" I say in a high pitch cheesy voice. I mentaly slap myself. What a nice cover up.

"Yeah you aren't fooling no one with that voice!" Ross laughs. I chuckle. "Just tell him your feelings!"

"I can't. I'm too shy! I don't have the guts..." I turn my head to see Red smiling at me. I smile back and wave. He makes a funny face, making me laugh.

"What's so funny Barney?" Max asks, an hint of annoyance in his voice. "Ahh...nothing." He sighs and goes back ro talking with Adam and Ross.

All the sudden Red comes crashing into my office, making me jump and stand up.

He runs to me, grabs my jacket and pulls me into a kiss.

I jolt awake, sitting up and looking over to my side to see Red sleeping softly by my side. I smile to myself. I just had a dream about how I ended up with an amazing guy.

I lay back down, kiss Red on the cheek, snuggle up against him, and fall asleep with a smile on my face.
