8:16:30 A.M.
The six diners sit around the restaurant, chatting cordially with one another.The three children, two girls and a boy, play tag while the adults chat about school. The older man introduces himself as Mr. Sojirou, and will be one of the girl's and the boy's teacher in the fall. He is explaining what the children will learn, and what supplies they need.
Suddenly, the older girl, seemingly eight or nine years of age, runs up to one of the women.
"Mommy," she exclaims," look at the pretty airplanes! And look! They're dropping down black rain!"
