Kenma furrowed his eyebrows. He wasnt happy at all.

He looked at his phone again to hopefully find another text. Nothing.

Kenma turned on the TV to pass time and frankly it worked because before he knew it he heard another buzz.

Kenma jumped from the couch and grabbed his phone as quickly as he could. The text read:

You're quicker than I thought. Well, I guess the gig is up. Meet me at the park.

Kenma sighed. He wasnt sure if he wanted to go to the park or not. At this point he was just pissed, but after a while he calmed down and mustered up the courage to go. He got on his shoes and headed out the door.

As he was walking the wind started picking up and sent small shivers down his spine. The sun was just about to start setting so the sky was laced with small lines of yellow.

As soon as Kenma got there he saw the large, black haired boy sitting casually on the bench.
Kenma sighed, he wasnt sure if it was a sigh of relief or anger.

He walked over to the bench Kuroo was sitting at.

"What the hell are you doing here!?" Kenma said looking at the grass.

"I didnt think youd come!" Kuroo said turning towards the boy, smiling.

"Answer me, please. I'm so angry at you right now"

Kuroo put his hands on his knees and laughed until he looked up and saw how furious Kenma was, immediately feeling awful. "I- I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd get this mad..." He looked like he was about to cry.

"I was very worried all day and I had to look everywhere for you." Kenma said giving a stern look, but felt bad too as he saw the look on Kuroos face. He'd never seen a look quite like it on Kuroos face, it made him scared and sad.

"I'm so sorry about that... I feel like shit, I didn't mean to ignore you or make you worry, truly." Kuroo said getting up from the bench pleading to Kenma. "I'll make it up to you, if you just come with me for a few minutes. It's what I've been doing all day." Kuroo held his hands together, looking at Kenma slouching his shoulders.

"I mean-" Kenma said sighing and rubbing the back of his neck. Looking at Kuroo being that desperate, he kinda got lost in his thoughts. "Alright, promise?"

Kuroos eyes were now bursting with light as he smiled ear to ear.

"I promise!"

Kuroo then grabbed Kenmas hand tightly and led him to where he wanted to take him first.

They both stopped in front of an old cafe.

"This is the first stop, simple." Kuroo said looking down into Kenmas eyes, smiling.

"Alright conductor." Kenma said rolling his eyes.

They entered the shop and took a seat at a very small table and ordered 2 mochas.

"Why did you bring me here?" Kenma said sipping his drink.

Kuroo leaned back in his chair and said, "Well first, why not. Second, we need something to give us fuel for tonight, and by the way, you should text your parents that you're not gonna be home for a while." He gave a smirk.
