》《 Phil's POV
------
The day was sunny, Phil's favorite weather.
Looking out the window of his art studio and seeing everyone smiling and hearing the birds chirping made him smile. Bright summer days were rare in London so whenever Mother Nature was feeling generous Phil made sure to make a painting.
The art studio was bare except for the occasional splatters of colored paint on the walls and the plastic covering the square room. There was one window near the corner of the apartment, This being where Phil's canvas and easel stood. Down the walls were paintings propped up against them, some half-done and others finished making the lack of organization all the more interesting.
The paint brush fell out of Phil's hand. 'Silly me' Phil thought as he reached down to pick it up. His hand was shaking but he marked that as normal, he was clumsy after all. Phil looked at his painting. It seemed to be of a young, tall boy with brown hair, rain was falling around him as he looked down on the street. Phil was happy with it and decided to go outside and enjoy the happy aroma instead of staying inside on the internet, or painting of course. The apartment was a few floors up, Phil was thankful for that- it was the only thing keeping him fit (or healthy to say the least).
The door creaked as Phil opened it and he stepped out, but there was something on the ground - a letter?
Dear Philip Lester,
I'm interested in viewing your paintings for a possible business exchange. Please meet me at Foxfort Art Museum this coming Saturday at 6:30 A.M. sharp.
Sincerely,
'Odd' Phil thought. No one has ever seemed to take an interest in one of his paintings. They were usually something that he dreamed of or of nature. Phil tucked the letter into his pocket and walked to the stairs with a smile on his face. The day seemed even more welcoming to him now. There's one person who would be more excited then him about this - his mum. After fumbling with his phone for a minute Phil finally pressed call on his mother's contact.
"Hello?"
"Hi Mum!" Phil said cheerily into the phone. "You'll never guess what I've just received." Phil could hear his mum laugh at his giddiness.
"What's the good news?" Phil could hear soft music playing in the background. His mum must be cooking, he thought, she only listens to music when she's baking.
"I've got myself a meeting to potentially sell some of my paintings!" Silence rang through the phone except for the sound of a soft guitar melody.
"Phil! That's great sweetheart! I'm so proud of you." His mum screamed excitement.
"Mum, calm down." Phil laughed. "I haven't made any deals yet." Phil looked down both sides of the street before continuing down one that went towards his favorite plant shop. "Mum I've gotta go. I'm almost at the plant shop."
"You don't need more plants, Phil." Phil's mom said sternly. Phil rolled his eyes. "Love you."
"I love you too."
