"Wake up, wake up, wake up, damn it Foxxe" I winced as the voice got louder. "WAKE UP ALREADY. I WANNA GO OUTSIDE AND YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN TAKE ME, SO WAKE UP!"

I groaned as I shifted the pillow so it covered my ears, attempting to block out the voice. I really didn't feel like getting out of the warm cozy bed just yet.

"Covering your ears with a pillow doesn't really work if I'm talking directly to your mind, you know."

"Doesn't mean I can't try." I grumble barely audible.

"I guess not, but it's still pointless."

"Go dig a hole and bury yourself in it Ash. I'm not in the mood." The foot of the bed dipped a bit then the blanket was being ripped off me. I groaned again and jumped from the bed, landing silently on my feet. I strode to the end of the bed, glancing down I realized the blanket wasn't there.

I heard the sound of claws hitting the floor. Looking over my shoulder I saw the fabric of the blanket disappear out the door. I decided that I should follow it. Rounding the corner outside the door I was once again able to hear the sound of claws hitting wood. I followed the sound, watching where I stepped as the floor was littered with different weapons, books and, what appeared to be, plants.

I walked the hall until I came to a room that appeared to be the living room. There was a woven wood table in the middle of the room, a light green couch and matching loveseat on either side. There was a window bigger than me with a window seat under it, though it looked like a small bed. I recognized the room I just couldn't place where I had seen it before.

"You like it?" I turned around to see Ash sitting on the floor with my blanket hanging from his mouth.

"Like what? The design of the room?" I looked around the room again. "Yeah, I actually love it."

"You should, you're the one that designed it." My eyes widened as bits and pieces of memories began to flash behind my eyes. I knew this room, I knew this house. If I knew this house then...I think I have a pretty good idea of who lives here.

I heard a shuffle followed by a thud as something hit the floor. I spun around, pulling an obsidian blade from my boot and spreading my wings. I was prepared to fight, though I might not be as good a fighter as Nyx I can sure as hell cause some damage.

"Ash, what I have told you about laying in the middle of the floor?" A guy was bent over on all four above a very amused looking Ash.

"Well if you watched where you walked we wouldn't have this problem every other day, now would we?" I couldn't help but let out a chuckle at his response.

The guy's head whipped toward me and he stumbled backwards a bit. I laughed at his reaction but never left my defensive stance. I let my gaze run over him. He had long, shoulder length black hair, dark brown eyes and he was built. If it came down to it I could beat him in a fight but not without getting a few scratches myself. We stared at each other awhile longer before he did something that surprised me.

"Heckli!" He screamed, startling me and Ash. Ash gave a slight whimper and weaved between my legs looking for shelter. He never did like loud noises.

"What in the name of roses is wrong Vex?" A guy who I knew all too well came rushing through the door into the room. He had a blade identical to mine clutched tightly in his right hand.
