Rosalie's P.O.V.

I groaned with displeasure when I heard the sound of one of my roomate's annoying alarm clock. I threw my pillow at Hermione.

"Turn that damn thing off!" I grumbled putting my extra pillow over my face.

I was not looking forward to classes starting today. Now instead of dealing with Snape in potions...we had him for defense against the arts. How was that any better?! I guess potions could be enjoyable now that we have a cheerful looking teacher. But we had Snape first thing in the morning. I sighed deeply as I threw the covers off me exposing my body to the cold air. I shivered slightly but then sat up stretching and yawning.

I went to the bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth before putting on my school uniform. I hated these bloody things because of the skirt. If it was up to me I would wear sweats every day. I grabbed my bag and waited for Hermione to grab hers and then we made our way down to the Great Hall to have breakfast. Once we walked out of our dormitory suddenly we were sprayed with glitter!

"AH! What the-?!" I shrieked trying to shake the glitter off me but it was no use. It's like it was stuck to me. I then heard devious laughter behind me and I quickly turned around with Hermione and we saw none other than Fred and George. "FRED! GEORGE! Get this glitter off of me right now! I look like a stupid fairy princess!" I said glaring at them playfully. Fred and George broke out into laughter collapsing onto the ground grasping their stomachs from laughing so hard. Once they regained control of themselves they stood up slowly and wiped their tears from their eyes and looked at Hermione and I. Hermione and I both had our arms crossed and looked at them with playful glares.

"Georgeeeeee please can you get this glitter off?" I pleaded with puppy dog eyes. George sighed and nodded taking out his wand and making the glitter disappear. Fred punched him in the arm. "Damn softie!" Hermione and I giggled. "Ow! Sorry...I can't help it if they're pretty!" He said hitting Fred back. I blushed at George's comment but tried to act like I didn't catch on to what he said. Hermione then looped her arm with mine and said "Well certain people have places they need to be. Maybe you two should do the same?" She said in a scolding tone. "Ah yeah right!" Fred said rolling his eyes playfully.

"Well we should really be going. See you at lunch!" I said then Hermione and I took off to the Great Hall for breakfast. We reached the noisy and happy Great hall. I looked over to the Gryffindor table and saw Harry sitting with Ron in our usual seats and I skipped to the table happily and took my seat next across from harry and Hermione next to me. "Good morning boys!" I chirped grabbing some sausage. "Why are you so happy?" Harry asked eyeing me. "What I can't be happy in the mornings?" I asked sticking my tongue out playfully. He put his hands up in surrender and we talked happily for the rest of breakfast before we had to make our way to Defense Against the Dark Arts. "Well..Snape got his dream job." I said grumpily.

Once we reached his classroom it stilll resembled the potions classroom just in a different room. It was still dark since he had shut all the windows and there was no decoration in sight. I took my seat  next to Harry towards the back as Hermione and Ron sat in front of us. I sighed slumping my head in my hands waiting for the bell to ring. Once the class filed in Snape stood up from his desk and looked at the Gryffindors with snide sneers and the Slytherins with a slight smirk. "Welcome to Defense Against the Dark arts."
