"hello! You must be Liya! My name is Mrs. Gingers. Please tell us about yourself." She says with a cheery voice. I smile and go to the front of the class. "Well...my name is Liya I moved here from New Jersey, I moved because my mom had a better job opportunity. I sing and play acoustic guitar." I tell them with a shy smile. "Excellent! Please, we have a policy that all new students have to show us their talent. So please choose a song of your choice and show us your talent. " she smiles. I nod thinking of a song and begin singing.

Claps fill the room, if you weren't the one up here receiving them you'd think they were fools clapping the way they are. I smile and sit in a chair in the back. The teacher explains what our next group project will be as I feel my phone vibrate. I pull out my phone and look to see who it was. Turns out it was Sean.
From: Sean- No problem. I'll see you, after school dinner starts at 4:15.

I send the text and finish listening to the teacher.

I quickly change out of my gym uniform and begin my walk to my locker grabbing my stuff and walking out the school doors into the chilly November air. "Shit" I curse as I realize I will have to walk in the chilly, biting cold air. I sigh and pull my coat tighter around me and begin my walk. As I begin walking out of the school car park I realize a car had been following me. I turn to look at the car and turns out it was Sean. "Hey Sean." I smile at him weakly. He nods. "Do you need a ride?" He asks. "N-no I'm okay. "I smile at him shivering. "Please get in you have a 15 minute walk and its about to downpour snow. " he tells me. I sigh as he had won this battle I got in the car saying a quick 'thank you' and smile as the warm air rushes to defrost me. He drives me home dropping me off. "Don't forget 4:15!" He yells as I run to my house and into my room.
