
I walk to the door and knock. "Liya! Come in! The foods ready I just have to get the boys. Oh and by the way they don't know you are staying yet we will tell them in a few sound good?" She asks. I nod politely. "Do yo want me to go get the boys for you?" I ask with a smile. "If it isn't to much to ask. "She says with a greatful smile. I smile and nod walking up the stares to Jakes room. "Boo!" I grin at the little 5 year old. "Lee!" He yells hugging my stomach. I smile and pick him up. "How have you been?" I say with a smile. He smiles and tells me about his field trip to the zoo. "I bet you had an amazing time- oh really! Wow!" He had just finished telling me that a tiger had come up to the glass. I smile and walk to his older brothers room. I knock. "Come in." I open the door. "Oh, hey Liya. What's up?" He says with a smirk. "Hey Sean. Dinners ready." I smile. He nods telling me he will be down in a few. I walk down the stairs putting Jake in the chair across from me. I sit on the opposite side and wait while keeping conversation with Jake. 'How was school?'or 'any new friends' or something like that.

"Okay I have an announcement." Mrs Travis says standing at the foot of the table. We all giver her our undivided attention. "Liya's parents went off on a business trip so she will be staying with us for the next couple months. She will go home tonight and pack her stuff and Friday (tomorrow) after school she will brink her stuff here." Her mom says. Sean's nods in understanding but doesn't smile in happiness or frown in aggravation. Jake on the other hand is squealing in excitement. I smile brightly. They all smile back. "Thank you for welcoming me in your home." I smile a her great fully. "No problem dear we are happy to have you." She beams at me happily. We continue to eat until its time to clean up. I ask to help but am dismissed quickly. "You should probably get home to start packing do you need someone to walk you home?" She asks. "I don't want to be a bother its okay I'll just go, the meal was lovely." She nods and I walk out the front door and shove at the cold mentally cursing myself for not bringing a coat. I sigh and walk down the front porch stairs stiffly. I get half way down the drive way when I hear Sean's front door slam. "Liya! Why didn't you come get me you shouldn't walk alone at night " he tells me. I nod. I start to shiver slightly. "T-thank you. " I say with a greatful smile not wanting to be alone. "Are you okay you are shaking. " he asks with a concerned face. "I'm f-fine. " I stutter as I shiver. He takes his coat off and draped it on me. "Thank you " I smile snuggling Into the warmth.
