Throughout (main character's name) 10 years he had always gone and enjoyed the yearly festival. By the time he had turned 11 and his father 36 he began to question a lot of things including the festival. Why was it important? Why make it mandatory to go there?
(Main character) had grown to hate the festival. The atmosphere of the event was now tented dully compared to the bright aura it us to be. On a rainy day the festival was to be held and thousands flocked to the center of district 40. Among them were (main character) and his father. They lived rather close to the district center and decided to walk to the festival.
