The Mute Girl In The Food Truck (ON HOLD)

•Chapter 3•

(E's outfit on the left , Nery's on the right)

I was running to school late because I overslept when I was up all night practicing my boxing skills in case I had to fight. I was already halfway to school when Nerys wolf came out "want a ride?" She said in my head I don't know how or when but I can read the thoughts of supernatural animals. I nodded my head and hop on to Nery and we were running fast to school. When we are inside the girls bathroom Nery turns and puts on her shirt of "talk Disney to me "light blue jeans and her favorite white tennis shoes while I was wearing my favorite jacket of a tree with black leggings and gray tennis shoes.

"Why were you late!? "Nery said "I overslept, I was boxing just in case...you know" I signed and Nery calm down "OK just don't do that again you know how the teachers are with you E" she said

"Yeah I know but I got them like this" I said while I crossed my pointer finger and middle finger together to show how I am with the teachers. "OK but we better go we have three minutes" she said.

"Can I get a lift?" I said and Nery sighed and just nodded and I hopped on her back again and we headed to our lockers to get our things.

Once me and Nery are in class in Mrs. Fannneys class she tell us to quiet down "as you know with all the rumors going on that we have a new student...come on in now" Mrs. Fanney said and every one turned their attention to the door, while I picked up my phone because like the cluts I am it fell on the floor, the opposite side where everyone else was looking.

Then came in a boy with tan skin and glasses and short black hair, when I saw him he looks very familiar but I don't even know him.

"Class this is Mario he's new so be please be kind to him." She said "sit in the seat next to E Hun" she said and I see him walking to the seat right next to me.

"Hello" he says I say nothing "she doesn't talk" Nery's says he looks at me then her "why?" I grab a pice of paper and write it's none of your business and look at the teacher to start class, right before the teacher says something Mario whisper something that will leave me shocked for the first time in a very long time.

"I really missed you, Esmeralda ."

"Okay how does the new kid know you!?" Nery says "to be honest I really don't know" I sign, Nery knows my real name but she was the first person to call me E and I really like that nickname.

"Can I sit with you guys" someone ask, I turn around and see Mario with a tray of food looking at me.

I nod my head yes cause I really don't care but the rest look at me skeptical and i shake my head showing that he's not a friend.

"Hey mute freak" some girl says and I turn around to see Abby Douglas the most bi-polar girl ever. I walk up to her and she tries to scratch my face, like any other girl that doesnt know how to fight I see this coming, and block her and then punch her in the jaw, she's then knocked out cold on the floor and her group friends grab her and take her to their table to wake her up.

I sit back down and Nery, Limey, and Jaidynn, and me continue eating our lunch.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT, SHE DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING!"
Mario said clearly not happy and I look at Nery "explain to him" and she nods her head.

"You see E here is mute and as you hear or read in the cliche stories and movies, they get bullied, but E here knows how to fight and she fights back and then they know not to mess with her with a bruise here and their, and so new kid you either are not going to talk to her ever again to be on her good side of be on her bad side, your choice man" Nery says finishing.

Mario get the idea and then grabs his things and leaves, "freak" he  mumbles, I hear it and I immediately get up and turn him around and punch him making his face turns to my left, he turns his face and pushes me but I dodge it and end up punch him in the guts and he falls to the floor.

The bell rings to dismiss lunch and we leave right before Nery says "should've been on her good side man would've been easier" and we leave.
