" You are Worthless!! USELESS AND WEAK!!"  my owner screamed at me with rage.

He does this everytime he calls me, no matter what I do. I keep silent as he keeps beating me. I am not allowed to hurt my master no matter what.

I should have never gave him my key. I regret ever meeting this man.

The other spirits he owns are abused just as I am. Although unfortunately he calls on me the most because I am his most powerful spirit.

I am angry but relived at this fact. If he calls me the most, the other spirits don't suffer like I do. This man is a part of the Lamia Scale guild, mostly everyone there is nice, except this guy.

" close gate of the dragon!"

As soon as the last word left his lips, I was sent back home.

Once I got back, all the other spirits he owned surrounded me.

"Are you alright Draco? Here, maybe my healing pants can help."

As soon as my friend got to work, I felt better.

" thank you so much Jade."

I told her with a smile.

Jade is another spirit my master, Rin owned. Her power is controlling plants. She has a handy ability in creating plants that can help heal you too.

" he shouldn't be allowed to abuse us like this." Mika said. Mika is the spirit of sound. She can create sound waves that make your ears bleed. It was so cool.

Everyone else agreed. Rin owned quite a bit of spirits. But he just had my key, along with 4 silver keys.

I guess I should introduce myself huh. My name is Draco, the dragon. You can say I am the celestial dragon. I have been a celestial spirit for 400 years. I was suppose to disappear with most of the dragons a long time ago, but as the celestial dragon, I came to an agreement with the spirit King, who helped me become a spirit.

I wanted to stay on Earth and help people that's why. My key is a pure white color, with gold and dark blue swirls on it. My key has a golden asterisk on it where it shows the symbol.

For years my key has been passed from owner to owner, and each time I have been abused. I wanted to fight back, but since I am a spirit now, I have to abide by the rules. As a dragon, you are probably thinking ' how can he hurt you then?' Well, the answer to that is I have two forms. A dragon form: this form I am rarely called in unless it is a huge emergency, I rarely need it since I am powerful enough in my human form. In this form, I am a pure white dragon, with dark blue and gold markings all over my body, hence why my key is like that too.

In human form: in this form I have pure white hair, pale skin, and I have two different colored eyes. My right eye is dark blue, kind of like the night sky. My left eye is golden, to shine bright just like a star would.

" yeah, but we can't do anything about it." I said, facing all my friends. Out of all of them, jade was my best friend here. Mika and jade both helped me though when I came back beaten. Rin's other two spirits are Yuki, who is a winter spirit and specializes in making blizzards, he is a quiet guy most of the time. Then there is Ash, a fire spirit. He is a wild guy, but whenever he is summoned he is quiet and devoid of emotion, like all of us were with Rin.

" Open, Gate of the Dragon and Gate of the Plant Mistress." With that, two gates appeared for jade and I. I looked at her and nodded, and we both hesitently stepped through.

Once we came out, we found ourselves consumed in bright light, as the sun shone around us. We looked around and found ourselves in a Forest. We looked to Rin, he had several scratches and his clothes were partially ripped.

"Defeat them, you useless pieces of crap, instead of just standing there!" My master gritted out. In front of us were several thugs, all of them carrying weapons. I could also sense magic power form all of them.

" huh, calling on your lowly spirits to shield you huh? Well we'll just obliterate them!" One of the thugs said.

" Do something!" Master Screamed.

I nodded at jade and we sprung into action. The thugs were starting to use magic. I watched as several light beams shot out of one's hands.

" Plant wall!!" Jade screamed. A large wall of plants came up from the ground and guarded us. Jumped high and went over it, and started to attack the men. I used my magic to make my punches and kicks more powerful. I let out my roar, and a swirl of blue and gold came out of my mouth and hit the thugs, knocking several over.

I didn't see one guy, who raised his weapon and shot a beam toward jade. She screamed and fell. I got so angry then, I let out a yell and used my magic to shoot him across the area, into several of his friends, and I also sent out a pulse that made the rest of them go unconscious.

I looked back to Jade and Rin. Rin was standing up looking furious. He looked at Jade with malice.

" YOU ARE SO WEAK!!!" I got angry.

" DON'T TALK TO HER LIKE THAT!!!"

He faced me and smirked evilly.

" I am your master and you will not talk to me like that. I would have broke your key if you were not so powerful, but this one."

No. Jade is a silver key, if her key broke, she officially dies. With me I would just go back to the celestial world  and I would have a brand new key, since I was a powerful being to begin with, and since I have a well known official constellation.

He got her key out and focused his magic on it, I ran to him, but it was too late.

Her key was in pieces.

" NOOOOO!!!!!"

I watched as my friend's body was lifted into the air and she disappeared in a golden mist.

I glared as angry and sorrow filled tears ran down my face.

All of a sudden, the ground started to shake.

" RIN TSUKIARWA!! YIU HAVE COMITTED A GREAT CRIME." The spirit King came out looking furious.

Rin looked pale and very scared.

"FROM THIS DAY FORTH, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OWN ANOTHER KEY AGAIN."

" but I am a celestial wizard. If I can't own another key I am useless and can't do anything!!" Rin looked up angrily.

I King looked at him with hatred

"YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE YOH LAID A FILTHY HAND ON ANY OF MY CHILDREN!!"

With that , the king disappeared, not before I heard his voice in my head," you and your comrades are free old friend. I am sorry for your loss."

I saw a light and looked down. My key has been returned to me. I took a chain out of my pocket and but my key on it. I then hooked the chain around my neck.

I looked at Rin, he looked absolutely pitiful. He was staring in shock where the king once stood.

I didn't want to see him anymore, so I focused my magic, and transported myself.

I decided to run, run from my problems. I won't return to the celestial world until later. I didn't want to go and leave my key in the world just yet.

Since I am not exactly like other spirits, I can last longer. I can last a long time on my own power, I might just have to go back for a day or two once in a while to replenish my energy.

But as of right now, I am focused on running, running into a new beginning. One where I can be my own master, and finally be happy.
