Dylan's Point of View

"One, two, three, four, I declare thumb war!" I said before making my thumbs wrestle. Hahaha! Right thumb didn't stand a chance.

"You're a cheater. You're a cheater." I told lefty.

"For the nth time, would you keep it down over there?" Cole said from the the living room. He's been complaining for about an hour because I'm too noisy, when will he ever learn? I laughed with that thought.

It's a weekend and I'm supposed to be having fun but I can't think of a single thing to do.

As for Cole, he brought some of his nerd friends from his school club Advance Mathematics.

Give me a B. 🏀

Give me an O. 🔵

Give me a RING. 💍

BORING!!

I went to the Kitchen to get some snacks and I can't help but notice how Dork my brother's friends are.

Just look at that lady over there, where did he get her clothes? From Forever 1949? And that guy beside him, did he steal Shrek's face?

What's the matter with the other girl beside Shrek? Did she apply make-up with a hammer? I thought they are all nerds.

Also, the boy beside Cole. I think her eyes hate each other because they are too far apart.

Lastly, the man on that girl's left, his ears are so huge! He should really keep himself away from elephants or they might get intimidated.

I have all day to insult them in my mind but I chose not to and move on to my business.

"Oh, Cole. 2 more minutes and the food's ready."

"Sheryl, it's Dylan! Can't you tell?" I said and combed my hair with my fingers.

"Uhm, No?"

"He's with the Dork Club discussing boring things like Cartesian Plane and such."

"Yeah. I'm making snacks for them." She said ignoring the new name I made for the club. Maybe she's getting used to the idea of me making fun of Cole.

I tried taking one of the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches she's making.

"Don't touch that." She hit my hand even before I get one.

"By the way Dylan.."

"Yes?"

"How did you know about Cartesian Plane? Aren't you just in 7th grade?"

"W-well,. Yeah.. It's just that... Oh My God! They're contagious!!" I said worriedly.

"Any how, you're Math teacher called. She said you didn't pass your last three assignments."

"Pfft. It's the first time I've heard of that."

"Of these three assignments?"

"No, that I'm in Math. Hahaha!"

"This is no time for jokes. Make sure you do it today."

"Whatever. By the way, I need a favor from you."

"I'm not doing your homework."

"No, no. Just make me a burger. I have something more important to do."

"By something more important, you mean topping your video game high score?"

"I love how you know me." I winked at her.
