RECAP:

The only sounds being heard was the clock and the constant beeping. it was driving me mad! BEEP BEEP BEEP! Imagine hearing that every single day for three weeks. it's annoying. but it's something I want to keep hearing.

BEEEEEEEEEEP


The line on Niall's heart monitor flattened. a long beep dragged out. "Niall. Niall please! NIALL YOU CAN'T DIE!" I screamed while crying all of us surrounded Niall's bed.

Liam rushed out to get a doctor. "NIALL!" I cried.


*Juliet's POV*

Harry had his arms comforting around me as I bawled into his shirt. the other boys couldn't hold it anymore, they were crying too.

I watched as the doctors tried to revive him. This was the last chance they had. they already tried twice. and you can only use it three times.

"3-2-1 clear!" he said. they tried on there last time.

Nothing.

I cried even harder into Harry's shirt. "i'm sorry guys. Nothing more we can do." the doctor said. they were about to take out the stuff and roll Niall out.

"NO! NIALL PLEASE! YOU HAVE TO SURVIVE!" I cried, ripping myself from Harry's grasp and running towards Niall. "Please babe! please survive! i need you with me." i cried. I clung onto Niall like my life depended on it. if Niall died... i don't know what I'll do anymore.

"Ma'am we need to take him." the doctor said and went to peel me off Niall.

"No! No you can't!" i cried hugging Niall tighter. i looked at Niall's pale face. his lips were chapped and lost a bit of colour since he's been in here. "i love you Niall." i whispered.

I brought my lips down to his and sweetly kissed him. our first and last kiss. Even though he's now... dead... i still felt sparks. Niall is meant for me. and now he's gone. i pulled back looking at him with teary eyes. "i'll always love you."

BEEP...

I heard the sound of the heart monitor. i looked at it confused.

BEEP...

It beeped again. the once flat line now fluctuating (a.n did I use that word right?)at a steady pace. "oh my god. he's alive! HE'S ALIVE!" I screamed happily.

The boys were staring shocked and even the doctors looked confused as to what had just happened. "How did that even happen?" i asked.

"I don't know." The doctor said astonished. "i guess your kiss was all that was need to revive him. You got lucky. that was a miracle"

I smiled and looked down at Niall. all the boys soon surrounded his bed. Niall stirred a bit. slowly his eyes fluttered open. he looked around his surroundings.

I began crying again. "thank God you're alive!" i cried hugging Niall. "i thought I lost you. if you died i won't be able to live."

His arms were slowly brought up and wrapped around my body. "i love you too babe." i said. i smiled. i never thought I'd hear his voice again. never thought I'd hear him call me 'babe', the name I hated being called, but loved when he said it.

When I released the hug Niall was crushed into one by his friends. they were all sniffling, trying to hold back tears. "i can't believe you're alive!" Zayn said happily.

"I actually cried for you man." Louis said.

"We thought you were a goner." Liam said.

"Wow. thanks Liam." Niall said sarcastically.

"You got lucky. they were about to proclaim you dead but Juliet wouldn't let them take you." Harry said. Niall looked over at me. i smiled. he smiled back. "that one kiss she gave you, was powerful enough to bring you back."

"Love is a powerful thing." I said. i ran back into Niall's arms.

"Thanks." he said.

"I love you Niall. i couldn't let you die." i said. i pulled back and stared into his eyes. they aren't as bright as they used to be. but still a beautiful blue. his eyes flicker between my eyes and lips.

"Just kiss already!" all the boys groaned. Niall rolled his eyes while I chuckled.

"I love you." i said

"I love you too." he said. our lips met and moved perfectly in sync. sparks flew through my body, an eruption of butterflies were soon in my stomach.

"Awww." i heard the boys say. i smiled into the kiss. i heard a few camera clicks.

After a couple seconds, which felt like hours, we pulled apart smiling. "i've been waiting so long for that." Niall said.

"Me too." i said. I pulled back and we all sat alongside his hospital bed.

"So how long have I been in here?" he asked

"3 weeks of a coma." Louis said. "you had to get surgery."

"So what happened really?" he asked.

"Right when we were about to kiss you were shot." i said sadly. "i'm just so happy you survived."

"Me too. or I wouldn't be able to see all of you again." he said. we all smiled.

"Okay Mr. Horan. over your time of the coma we were able to recover with your surgery. so you'll be free to leave tomorrow. We just need to run some tests an make sure you're stable." the doctor said.

"Okay." Niall said. "I feel hungry." he said.

"And Niall's back." Liam said chuckling.

"How about you go into a coma for 3 weeks. see hoe you feel when you wake up." Niall said.

"I'll get you some food mate." Harry said getting up.

"Thanks." Niall said. "what have I missed while I was out?"

"A bunch of her crying." Louis said pointing at me. i chuckled.

"Awe. you cried for me." Niall smiled.

"Wouldn't you cry if someone you loved was lying on their death bed?" i asked.

"True." he said.

Can't get over this though. i brought Niall back. i brought my everything back, that one kiss had so much power. they really weren't kidding when they say love's powerful. it really is. and now he gets to go home tomorrow.

On the outside I'm smiling. but on the inside I'm bouncing around, squealing in happiness. Niall's back!


--next day--

*Juliet's POV*

I pulled out my phone and sent a text to Matt and Celeste.


To: Matty
NIALL'S AWAKE!! CAN YOU AND CELESTE COME DOWN!?!? HE'S LEAVING TODAY!!

To: Sistah
NIALL'S AWAKE!!!! OU MY GOD GRT DOWN HERE WITH MATT ASAP! WE NEED A RIDE!

From: Matty
I was in class. but okay. I'll get your sister and head down.

From: Sistah
Matt just stopped at my class. we're leaving soon.


"My sister and friend are on their way over to get us." i told Niall. he nodded.

"You know Juliet. i never got the chance to properly ask you..." He started off. i went over to his bed.

"What is it?" i asked.

He pulled me head down and kissed my lips. "will you be my girlfriend. i promise, i'll do whatever to keep you safe." he said. i smiled.

I kissed him. "of course I'll be your girlfriend." i said. he smiled widely at me.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you?"

"About a billion times. but I love you too." i said smiling.

The door opened and there stood Matt and Celeste. "hey." they both said awkwardly.

"Thank god you're alive. if you died Juliet would literally kill herself. Then I'll bring you back from the dead and kill you all over again for making her kill herself." Celeste said. i started laughing.

"But if you hurt her again, i'll personally kill you." Matt said.

"No worries. if I do I give you full permission to beat me." Niall said.

"So let's check you out and leave." i said. we left Niall's hospital room and went to the front desk. Since Niall is 20,turning 21, he was able to sign out.

We got into Matt's car and drove off. "so are you two... like together now?" Celeste asked.

"Yup. he asked me to be his girlfriend today." i said smiling up at Niall.

"Congrats. you really do make a good couple." Matt said. after a 30 minute drive, we pulled up at Niall's house.

"Thanks guys. i'll text you later." I said as me and Niall stepped out the car.

"Bye!" they both said and drove off. we went into Niall's apartment. when we got in his room we saw the boys there holding a banner that said

'Welcome Back!'

"HEY NIALL!" They all shouted happily. "We got you a welcome back gift." Zayn said.

They stepped aside, there was probably one of the biggest flat screens i've ever seen.

"How did you afford this?" Niall asked surprised.

"Some people owed us a favour. so ta-da! i'll be allowed to use this right?" Harry asked.

We all laughed a bit. "Course Haz. thanks guys." Niall said hugging each of them.

"We also ordered you a pizza. so let's sit back. watch your enormous tv, and eat some pizza." Louis said.
