LA Dream

I woke up with the sun shining threw my apartment's windows, I didn't really had the time to think about the meeting in LA !

I don't want to leave my life and family here but this could be my big break for my career !!!

I look at the time on my clock that says 10:30 am. I decided to call my mom to tell her about this whole situation.

It's ringing...
Mom: Hey honey ! How are you babygirl ?!
Me: I'm good mom thanks ! I just had a question to ask you...
Mom: I'm listening.
Me: I got a agent yesterday and I already have a meeting-
Mom: That's great honey !!!
Me: Mom I-
Mom: Gabriel your daughter is gonna be an artist !!!
I hear her yelled to my dad.
Me: Mom !
Mom: What's that ?
Me: The meeting is in LA ! Should I leave or-
Mom: No ! You're gonna pack your bags right now, we're going to buy you a plane ticket, we're gonna throw you a going away party and then your going to go live your dream !
She said with confidence.
Me: Mom no-
Mom: Marianne yes... You've been talking to us about this dream since high school and now it's coming true.
Me: Thanks mom ! I love you.
Mom: I love you too. See you tonight !
Me: Bye !

My mom is crazy... But I'm happy because they always said that they were going to help me realize my dreams when they're about to come true... Like today !

I just realized that I had to text Jake to him that I can come to the meeting.

Me: Hey change of plans I can come to LA tonight !
Jake: That's awesome 😝 I'm booking you an hotel room right now.
Me: Thanks your the best 💪🏻 Oh and what is the meeting about ?
Jake: It's about a TV show airing right now about cops and stuff 👍🏻
Me: Cool 😋 See ya there 👋🏻
Jake: Later gator ✌🏻️

I was dressed in this beautiful red crop top and long white skirt with a smoky makeup and some black heels for my going away party.I put my suitcase and some comfy clothes for the plane in my car so I won't have to comeback to my apartment after the party. My mom texted me that it was at our family house, my childhood house !

I took a little purse, my wallet, my car keys and I drove there. When I arrived, I knocked on the door but no one was inside but there was a note on the door saying.

"We took the party outside !!!"

I walk to the side of my childhood house and enter the backyard and everyone screamed: "SURPRISE !!!"

I almost fall down when I saw all my besties, my sisters, my aunt, my uncles, my parents and other family friends. I then smile and say "Hi" to everyone. I talked to everyone about what was going happen to me and how excited I was.

After eating, drinking, talking and having fun with everybody I had to leave for LA. I said "bye" to everyone before leaving for the airport.
