The four brothers were out on their patrol.
It has been almost a month since Leo has come back.
Leo was happy that he did come back, he didn't know what he was thinking. He was perfectly fine without Karai in his life.
His younger brothers were also happy that Leo was back. They knew how stupid Leo felt, so they didn't bring it up at all. It's never slipped once.
At the end of their patrol, Leo said, "Hey, you guys head home. I wanna stay a little." His brothers smiled. "Okay, bro." Mikey patted his shell, "Don't stay out too late." He said, trying to sound like a strict parent.
Leo laughed, "Heh, okay Mikey." His brothers went into the allyway and Leo ran around the city. He did a bunch of flips.
"Yeah!" He shouted. He turned around to go home when he saw her again. He did the same thing that happened last time: his smiled fell and he stayed silent.
"Leo, I really need to talk to you." She said to him.
Leo stayed quiet.
"Leo, please. Just hear me out." She tried again, but all she got was silence. She sighed, "If you won't talk to me just listen." She pulled out a stereo and pressed 'play'.
A piano started playing and Leo instantly remembered the song.
People say, we shouldn't be together

She sang to him, but his frown stayed.

She changed the lyrics so she could sing it to him. She looked him in the eye as she sang.

Flash backs of the time they spent together flashed through the soul mate's head as Karai sang

Leo's frown disappeared and he started to sing with her

"Leo, please forgive me." Karai said, "This may not seem like much, and I know that this is the second time I stabbed you in the back, and I know that-!" She was cut off by Leo smashing his lips against hers.
He pulled away saying, "You talk to much." Karai smiled and hugged him. Leo hugged her back.
They don't know how long they stayed like that, but they didn't care. All they needed for now was this.
