Telling Off

It's been a week since the whole 'Karai' incident and it's almost as if it hasn't even happened.

They train during the day and go out on patrol at night. Just like they have been ever since they first went up that one day.

Leo smiled as he ran.

"You happy bro?" Mikey yelled to him from across the area.

"Yeah! It feels nice to run with you guys again!" He yelled back.

They all laugh, even Raph.

Though he would never admit it, he was kind of happy that his older brother was back.

They both joined up on the same rooftop, still running. They jumped across, Leo a little ways ahead.

That was when she showed up.

She jumped onto the other side of the roof.

The sight of her made Leo stumble back a little, his happy expression turning into a sad one.

His brothers looked at him, as he stared at Karai. They looked at each other before looking at Karai angrily, "What do you want Karai?!" Raph yelled at her.

"I don't want any trouble, I just wanna talk." She said, uncharacteristically.

"The time for talking is over." Mikey said, "You had your chance and you blew it."

"Please," Karai said, looking at Leo, "Let me talk."

His brothers protested her, telling him 'just forget it, Leo' and 'she's not worth it'. His eyes never left hers.

She genuinely wanted- needed to talk to him.

"Go." He said.

"What?" Leo's three other brothers said.

"You heard me. If Karai wants to talk, let her talk." Leo said, his gaze never leaving hers, "She wants to talk to me alone."

Raph, Donnie, and Mikey looked at each other, "Whatever you want, bro." Raph said before jumping to the next building.

Mikey and Donnie followed him, leaving Leo with his ex-girlfriend.

"Look, Leo-" She started.

"No, Karai." Leo interrupted her, "I'm not taking any of your excuses."

"Leo-"

"No! You broke my heart! I thought you had changed. I can't believe I fell for it again!" Leo said loudly.

His brothers were looking over at the two, just barely catching what they were saying.

"You tricked me again and I fell. And I got hurt in the process." He continued, "I'm not dealing with this anymore, Karai." He turned around.

"Leo, please-" she tried again.

"Just forget it Karai." Then he jumped to another building.

His brothers looked on, astonished. They looked at Karai, who had a sad look on her face.

"De jè vu, huh guys?" Mikey said.

Donnie and Raph groaned and followed Leo.

"Oh, come on. That was good!" He shouted back, following them.

Karai looked on as the four brothers jumped off, back home. She knew she should probably follow them, but couldn't bring herself to do it.

Though this may come to a surprise to you, she felt horrible. Like a chunk of her had been violently ripped out.

She sat on the ground and held in her tears.

She was better than that, and she knew it. She knew she deserved to be told off by Leo. She betrayed him. Stabbed him in the back.

And this was the second time.

Karai knew she had blown her second chance.

And she knew he would never forgive him.

A/N Again, I say, this is NOT the end. There's one more chapter after this. And don't even get me started on the shortness. It may not be short to you, but to me, it is.

Anyway, thank you all for the support, especially you tmntgirl4evz. You've been the best "best friend writer forever".
