Chapter Five - Don't Take Me Away From Him

Armin's eyes rarely reached this size and intensity, but the sight of his father before him enraged him with feeling he'd never felt before.

"Why are you here? Why have you brought me back? I've made my decision, you need to understand that you are the reason I left the family in the first place. I never wanted to be king!" He growled out, pulling away and frowning.

The man furrowed his brow and towered over the blonde, making him cower in light fear. "Armin Perseus Arlert, you are to listen to your father. You may think you are high and mighty as a prince, but you cannot simply leave when you don't feel like ruling. You will stay here and take my place on your nineteenth birthday." He said plainly, Armin's eyes filling with tears.

"You can't do this! Please...Father.. Don't make me leave! Don't.. Don't take me away from him.." He said softly, holding Eren's hand and holding him close. "I love him.. He loves me.." He muttered, looking back to the taller man.

"There is nothing you can do to make me leave my human.. He is mine." He hissed through a scowl, kissing him gently and watching as Eren ran a hand through Armin's flowing hair. "If you stay with this dirty human.. You will never be able to return." His father bellowed, earning a shocked look from Armin.

"You.. You aren't my son. Princes don't love other men. They have princesses." He said, turning away. "Goodbye, Armin, betraying your family line." He said, shaking his head." Armin was hurt.. He never thought, in a million years, he would hurt like that. Especially by his father.

'Oh well.' He thought, wiping his eyes even though he was submerged.

'I'm okay.'

'I'm..I'm fine.'
