The first day I come to this school, the reason I am told is that it isn't important and I will figure out in due time. "Today is not the day that you be nice to everyone, besides do you really care what people think about you," says one of the voices I hear in my head.
"Give them a chance, you never know, they could be different from the last," says another.
"Why dont you just let me have one day without you guys being in my head."
"But it is fun to torture your small mind with our words."
"But these are different people and a different school they won't be the same way."
"Thats what I you told me at the last school and the same things continued to happen, so just quiet and let me do my thing."
I listen carefully and I hear nothing from them anymore. I continue to move into the new school. While I am listening, I am approached by someone and they ask if I was new here. I respond, "Yes, but what does that matter." Then I turn and see it was a girl. I start to walk away, besides what could she think about me.
I walk into the office to get my schedule, in which I get the classes that I need to pass my sophomore year. I start to leave the office, then I am told to stop. I hear the lady behind the counter calling a teacher to excuse a student. She says a girls name and I figured out that she was going to be my guide around the school. Then the girl, that had asked if I was new, walked in. "Hello my name is Samantha Pedridge, but everyone calls me Sammy, and I will be your guide around the school."
