Jealousy from the Moon and Back

Prologue/Intro

Prologue:

Max is my name, and the game.....well, I don't really have a game. Being a werewolf isn't really much of a game either....you catch my drift.

I'm 16 and I have no specific look. What do you mean you might ask? Well later you will find out more about it. For now, I need to get to the meeting were all levels of authority from the lowest, omega, to the highest, alpha. I'm just tired to begin with, so I should head down right about now.

But before I do, I must tell you how we live in a sorta of apartment in the woods. Its more or less a reserve, but the government doesn't watch us. We live in Russia. Our pack name is квартале затмение. I'm pretty sure that means quarter eclipse. Most of us speak Russian only. Some of us speak  English only. Only me and my friend Max speak both. So we are stuck running around being everybody's translator and lap dogs. And you think people will start to give language classes.

Max, my friend, is a boy. Same age as me, and only born 2 weeks earlier. I met him about a year ago when we had our first conjoint birthdays in said pack. He came from a different pack somewhere in Canada or something, and was transferred here for reasons unknown. He hasen't told me yet. But we are the best of friends...well I think. We don't share secrets or anything but we are cool...I guess.

Oh, yes, and the mate situation. I find mine at 17 and so does Max. Why? I don't know, that's just how it works for people born in 1996. That being said, my birthday is in 5 months! YEAH! (not really)

I'm not focused on finding my mate though, I hear its a great feeling and all that. I focus on doing my best. At what? Doing what I do.....or I very well could just be scared. But I don't want to talk about that. I would rather talk about my parents. My parents are rogues. And well, good for them as they left me behind. It was more like my choice when I was 12. I didn't want the fear of being killed hung over me for most of my life. I wanted to feel more or less, free. Max's parents, they are somewhere in Canada, As I said before, no details.

I'm pretty sure i covered everything so, off to the meeting. I really hope I'm not late!
