It was the next day, Friday. Catherine, Jane and Levi were at JFK waiting for their flight. As promised, Jane had bought Catherine lunch, a simple turkey sandwich.
It was about 6 PM now, Jane and Catherine were seated in the waiting area while Levi was walking around. Jane scrolled through her Facebook wall, occasionally liking and/or sharing a post. Catherine looked over Jane's shoulder ever so often to see what Jane was giggling about. While Catherine was eating her left over turkey sandwich from earlier, Jane suddenly stopped giggling.
"Oh my God....Oh my God! How rude!" Jane exclaimed and shoved her phone in Catherine's face. She squinted at the phone, "It's too close. I can't see anything." She mumbled and Jane pulled the phone back to herself.
"You sure you wanna know..?" Jane said cautiously, Catherine now interested in what all the fuss was about. "Yeah, what is it? Another idiot complaining about gas prices?" She chuckled to herself, but shortly stopped noticing Jane looked serious.
"I'll read it...it says, 'Levi's party was great until he brought over his girlfriend's friend. Talk about lame and annoying. She nagged me all night and then left suddenly. She--'.." Jane was about to continue, but Catherine grabbed the phone and pressed the power button.
"I don't want to hear it. Whatever he has to say is completely irrelevant and doesn't bother me." She said calmly and Jane smiled. "Yeah! Who cares what he thinks! You're awesome and totally not annoying or lame! Well...you do nag a little." Jane said teasingly and Catherine shoved her playfully.
"I wouldn't have to nag if you'd act responsible! It's called caring." She said in reply and Jane hugged her tightly.
"I'm gonna miss your mothering.."
"Yeah..me too.."

It was a few days after departing from Jane and Levi, Catherine was currently wiping down the tables at her cafe, 'Cafe Tardo'. Business was slow that day and she was just cleaning a little just in case someone did come in. Well, that's what she told herself. In truth, she was just trying to get what Yao said about her off of her mind. For some reason, it was bothering her. Why? Why should she care what he thinks?
She wasn't focusing on what she was doing and knocked over a chair. She groaned and put the chair back in its place. "Get out!!" She yelled, hitting her head.
"Oh, sorry. Is the cafe closed?" She turned around to see a customer standing behind her. She gave an apologetic smile, "Sorry ma'am...not you. What can I get you today?"

Locking the cafe doors behind her, she walked down the sidewalk to a little grocery store. She needed some milk and decided to pick it up before heading home. Walking down the many aisles to the dairy section, she turned the corner and ran into someone taller than her. That person dropped their basket.
"Oh man, I'm so sorry. My head is in the clouds!" She said picking up the person's spilled groceries. Said person let out a groan and she looked up, her face draining of all color. It was him!
"Oh, of course it's you.." Yao said, bending down to pick up his basket. She stood up straight and handed him whatever was left of the food. Now was her chance to confront him!
Not. "S-Sorry...I wasn't watching where I was going.." She replied simply and he snatched the bag back. "Yeah, whatever." He said and walked off, mumbling something like 'Stupid girl' and something in what she perceived as Mandarin.
"Why'd it have to be him?" She muttered and continued on her quest for milk.

Catherine was laying in her bed, reading 'Me and Mr. Darcy', one of her favorite novels. She was done for the day, now she had time to unwind and relax.
