Chapter 4

*Time skip to 2 months later*

Third Person P.o.v
The start of October, and guess what? Fall is in the air, the holiday that's on everyone's minds, both humans and monsters alike, yeah heh heh you know the one. Halloween, the holiday that for just one night all tension between humans and monsters completely disappear.

One night a year, pure freedom, pure ecstasy, both races come together for a single spectacular night of partying that reigns legendary out of all major events.

"Sans come on, I don't want to be late with helping Mettaton place Halloween decorations around the school." Papyrus cheekily said, obvious to his older brother that he's anxious to see the glamorous robot.

"Tell me why we're going to help Metta- whatever his name is again...?"

Papyrus quickly turned his head towards his beloved brother completely and utterly shocked at what he had just said.

"Oh come on Sans, you act as if you didn't like him." Papyrus blushed and smiled at the thought of Mettaton, and turned his head towards his older brother expecting a refusal to his accusation.

Regrettably Sans only stared back, his eyes cold and expressionless.

Sans stared at his brother with a type of seriousness that made Papyrus shudder, "Would it be a problem if I didnt..." the seriousness leaves and is replaced with a sense of worry, "I don't know Pap I don't get a happy-go-lucky vibe when you're with him."

The brothers walking ceases to a halt, a cool autumn breeze caresses their bodies, the leaves gliding gracefully through the sky as if the wind were making them dance. Their eye contact neither wavering, nor were they planning on backing down to one another.

Several minutes of complete silence go bye except for the eccess noise around them and Papyrus is the first to speak, "Sans...." "Yeah bro?"

"Sans you're my brother and my only family...but please can you ease off the overprotecting? I appreciate everything you've done for me but just loosen the reigns a little."

After hearing these words Sans had been taken at a loss for words, he never knew Papyrus felt this way at all.

"Look Pap I-I'm sorry ok, I'm just really worried about you getting your heart broken...I know it's been hard.....hard on the both of us ever since we lost dad."

Sans being overwhelmed with emotion sadly drooped his head and brought his hands down to his sides.

I just don't want anyone to hurt you Pap

"Can we go now Sans? We're already 5 minutes late to help Mettaton." Sans slowly brought his head up to face his younger brother and softly smiled, "...Sure bro, let's get going."

*Another le time skip to the school*

Mettaton's P.o.v
Hmmm...I wonder where they are. I've been sitting outside of the school waiting for Papyrus, sadly his brother is tagging along as well. Sans? I think was his name he freaked me out the first time I met him in class.

I think the feeling of dislike is mutual on both of our ends. Even so, if it's to see Papyrus' cheery smile again I'll do anything.

I looked at the clock on my phone and its 10 minutes pass the time they were supposed to get here. I hope everything's okay, I don't know what I would do if something happened to him. Is it sad I could honestly care less about Sans? Heh I didn't think so either.

Hmm I guess calling him wouldn't hurt. I dial his number and wait for him to pick up.

It is I The Great Papy- "Oh my god Papy are you okay? You're running a bit late and I got worr-" I am not able to answer my phone right now. Please leave a message and I'll try my best to get back to you.....*beep*

......I didn't know what to do first, either throw my phone in embarrassment or just sit there and wallow in shame. Both seemed too easy.

*sigh* I guess I'll go inside and get a head start on the decorations since they aren't here

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry this chapter is so short and I'm sooorry I haven't updated in MONTHS. A lot of things have been happenin in my life and I had to go through with my phone being broken and everything. Well I'm back now and the next chapter will be longer and the party shall begin cx
