They test us on what we learn, holding us to high standards.
Our teachers tell us that it's a reflection on them, not us. Yet they still stress that we need to do well. How do you expect us to do well if all we learned was how to keep ourselves sane? How are we supposed to tell the state "yes I remember this information that we worked on for a day"? On top of the stress of just our grades, we're somehow supposed to juggle this test that none of us studied for? Tests over stuff we will never use again in our lives? Let me make sure I have this straight, you want us a group of kids you don't treat with respect to add more stress to ourselves, when we are already struggling because we stress about how we are seen by our peers? To this I say that you should try, the suits who make us stress to the point most of us are placed on drugs to calm us. Try and go through the year with as much stress as we put on ourselves and then try cramming for a test that you don't know a lick about. This test is just another thing for you, for us it's another piece of our soul being stolen by big men in suits.
