I'm Sorry

To the mom that watched me grow:
I'm sorry I pushed you away
I'm sorry my youth didn't stay
To the dad that never seemed to be around:
I'm sorry that I call you at night crying, wanting you to be there, to tell me I'm not dying.
I'm sorry my siblings and I wanted you around, wanted to see you, with us and smiling
To my siblings:
I'm sorry your sister couldn't do much
I'm sorry I wasn't around when you wanted a friend, though I told you I'd be with you til the end.
To the one who left me:
I'm sorry, my love, I hope that the next one is a sign from above.
I'm sorry for distance and everything else.
To everyone I forgot to list:
I'm sorry I'm doing everything I do
I'm sorry for not saying 'I love you'
I'm sorry if it's hard to see
I'm so, so, sorry for being me.
