haruka nanase X water

a dream

it was the first day of spring for
haru-san. he was heading out the door in a hurry for school. today would be a good swim day, he could feel it.

"HARUUU" he heard the familiar cry of a wild nagisa and a tap on the back to assure him of his presence. "i couldnt wait to get back to school today and swim!" the precious nagisa exclaimed.
haru-san nodded in agreement and continued to head toward the school.
he later was greeted by rei and makoto at the entrance before class began.

each hour seemed to pass by slowly as he daydreamed of pool-sama waiting for him patiently. calling for him.
"nanase."
"nanase!"

haru jerked his eyes up to see his teacher staring at him.
"can you read this sentence out loud?"
haru-san, startled, looked down at his textbook.

"my summer is very hot but i enjoy it to the fullest at the pool with a glass of lemonade." he read fluently.

he missed his beloved pool.
"very good." the head of the classroom turned back to the board and resumed talking.
haru-san looked out the window to gaze at the cherry blossom trees slowly swaying in the perfect breeze.
the petals danced beautifully in the air and floated gracefully to the ground.
he could feel his eyelids slowly lowering from the weight of his tiredness. why was he so sleepy. he placed his hand under his chin to rest his head and dozed off.

"haruka look at this spectacular rose!" pool-sama plucked the flower and handed it to haru. he grabbed the stem gently to avoid the thorns and brought it close to his nose. "it smells very nice. thank you." he said as he inhaled deeply. "oh haruka dont thank me." pool-sama blushed and looked down quickly, "you know i do love you so.."
haru extended his arm out and held pool-sama's chin up. "pool-sama." haru whispered. "yes master" pool-sama replied. "pool-sama.... i.." "haruka"

"HARU. WAKE UP." makoto stood above haru-san, his hands on his shoulders, shaking him slightly. haru-san moved his head up slowly off his desk. "haruuuuu class is over lets go swim!" nagisa jumped up behind makoto and stretched his arms upwards. "rei and i were waiting for you the whole time, only to find you asleep in the classroom still!" haru-san stood up and looked around the area. "i fell asleep?" he muttered and went over to the door. "what was i doi-" he paused for a moment. pool-sama. where was she. haru-san raced out the door before the others could say anything else and darted out the back door of the school that lead to the pool.

he ripped off his shirt and began to take off his pants to reveal a pair of swim trunks below, which was no surprise to his friends. "pool-sama" he said loudly and leaped into the water. "h-haruka... i've been waiting all day."
