CHAPTER 1
"Harry, let's go!" I yelled.
Harry rolled his eyes and smiled, "Hang on, babe! Let me finish this text."
I grabbed my white purse and pulled it over my shoulder. Looking back at Harry I cleared my throat, "Who are you texting, anyway?"
He didn't answer me. Instead, he just stared down at his thumbs as they tapped buttons on his phone. I was getting frustrated and I finally walked up to him with an angry expression across my face. I shoved my hand in front of his phone screen and grabbed the phone. Harry looked up at me in shock, "Hey! Give it back, Alyssa!"
I looked down at the phone screen. "Who's Lindsey?"
Harry grabbed the phone quickly and pushed past me. He opened the front door, "It's just an old friend."
I shrugged but I wasn't sure about this Lindsey girl. Harry told me about all his friends and I had never heard of Lindsey. As the thoughts ran through my mind, I walked outside into the bright sun. "I need to go grab my wallet," Harry said, and he ran back inside.
I shook my head and walked out to the car. As I got into the car, I noticed a small slip of paper shoved into the crack of one of the back seats. I reached for it but before I was able to grab it, Harry opened the driver's side door causing me to jump. "What are you doing, Alyssa?" He laughed.
I smiled and shrugged, "Nothing."

"Finally. We're here." I said as we pulled into the theater parking lot.
Harry leaned over and kissed me on the cheek, "Let's go."
I smiled as we both got out of the car. When we got inside, the theater was a little crowded. "Wow! There's a lot of people!" I said.
Harry nodded, "Remember! That one new movie just came out today."
I laughed. I had totally forgotten. We walked up to the ticket window. A short pale woman with bright red hair stood behind the window with her arms crossed. "Hello, how may I help you?" The woman said in a high pitched voice.
As Harry asked for two tickets, I walked over to buy us some popcorn and soda. I bought a large popcorn and got two Cokes. When I turned around, a tall man with bright green eyes and brown hair slicked back, stood with his arms at his sides behind me. "Hey, good-looking," he said.
"Excuse me?" I said.
He blocked my path as I tried to walk past him. A somewhat raspy voice came from behind him saying, "Hey! What are you doing to my girlfriend?"
I craned my neck so I could see behind the man. There stood Harry with two tickets in his right hand. The man turned around and looked at Harry, "I'm sorry, man! I ain't tryin' to cause trouble!"
I giggled as the man walked away and Harry grabbed the bucket of popcorn from me. "What is wrong with him?" He laughed.
We walked into the theater as some previews were playing. As we found some seats, Harry looked around. I didn't know what he was looking for, but he seemed to be searching for something. Or someone.
