I stood out in the parking lot for about five minutes. Cold chills ran up my arms as the wind surrounded my body. I headed back inside. "We're you crying?" Megan asked as she gave me a hug.

"What?" I said quickly rubbing my eyes. "O-ok. Yes."

Megan shook here head. She walked with me into the food court. We bought some coffee and enjoyed it as we sat outside on a bench. "I'm so sorry about today," I said, looking over at Megan.

She shook her head and patted my back, "Don't be. It's fine."

We sat there in silence and watched the wind blow the fall leaves around. I finished my coffee and stood up. "U-uh. Can you take me home?" I asked.

Megan stood up, "Yeah. I'll take you home."

We got into the car and drove home. We didn't talk except for when I once again apologized. Maybe it was just me, but Megan seemed to be annoyed. I sighed and stared out the window. I watched as some kids rode their bikes along the sidewalk. They laughed and shouted to each other with big smiles on their faces. I smiled. We pulled into my driveway and I got out. I grabbed my purse and waved goodbye. Megan gave me a fake smile and pointed at my door, "Shut that door for me."

I shut it and walked up my driveway. I turned around and waved again. Megan just looked at me and pulled out of the driveway. I sighed and walked into my house. The house was silent. I heard a quiet noise coming from the kitchen. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and grabbed the umbrella by the front door. I slowly walked into the kitchen with the umbrella held high. There on the counter was Oreo. He quickly turned his head toward me. I sighed in relief and sat the umbrella down on the table. I tossed my purse and car keys down a chair. "Oreo, you scared me." I laughed and ran my fingers through his fur."

He purred and hopped down onto the ground. "Are you hungry?" I said and grabbed some cat food.

After feeding him, I walked upstairs. I could hear some kids laughing outside. "Life was so much nicer when I was younger like them." I said to myself.

I looked out the window and watched the kids kick a small soccer ball around in the street. A green car honked at them and the kids scurried to the sidewalks. I laughed and noticed that the green car was turning into my driveway. "Who is that?"

I groaned and headed back downstairs. Looking out the window, I saw it was Harry. "Ugh. I honestly wanted to be alone for a little bit."

I walked into the living room and sat down. "That was hilarious!" A voice came from outside the front door.

I turned around. The voice sounded so similar to Lindsey's voice. Before I could go look who it was, the door opened. "Maybe we can hang out again sometime soon! It was great seeing you!" Harry waved and shut the door as his friend walked away.

He walked into the kitchen and sat his jacket on the back on one of the chairs. He took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair. "Hey," I said. "Did yo-"

He cut me off as he walked into the room. "I can't believe you didn't trust me!" He shouted. "I'm your boyfriend! You can trust me!"

I sat up and tears began pouring from my eyes. "Babe, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-it's just-I am just so sorry. I don't know what has gotten into me."

"Well you need to figure it out." His voice got quieter. "You embarrassed me."

"So what? They're your friends. They aren't going to judge you."

"They're not just my- just nevermind. It was embarrassing. It was stupid of you!" He pointed his finger in my face.

I stood up and hit his finger out of my face. "Stop it, Harry!"

"No!" He grabbed my hand and pulled it down.

I fell forward and he caught me. "Alyssa," He looked into my eyes. "I love you. I just..."

He trailed off as his lips brushed mine. His hands rubbed against my hips and he leaned in closer. He kissed me and I kissed back. "Babe. I love you too much for you not to trust me." He whispered in my ear.

I lied my head on his shoulder and a tear rolled onto his grey shirt. "I will trust you."
