before Josie pulled away, muttering, sorry, I can't before running back to class. well damn.

Josie's POV
Last period has finally come on a Friday afternoon. Normally, on any day other than Friday, we just continue on, go home, as live our lives, but Friday is the day all of the kids in year 4 look forward to.

Why, well because Friday is the 'sleepover night,' as the teachers say, but me and my friends prefer, hangout night.

So basically, we finish school, enter the hall, have a giant feast, then do what ever we want until 10pm. Of course you don't have to come, none of the nerd-tipe of people come, to busy with studying or watching cheesy movies, but at 11pm, it's lights out. And it's only for year 4.

The loud bell brought me out of my thoughts, as all of us cheer, and rush to the bathrooms to get changed.

After Pulling on a sleeveless grey jumper, and some black ripped skinny jeans, as well as taking my hair out and throwing it over to one side, 2 mins and I'm done.

Well, let the fun begin. insert evil smirk.

I jog into the hall, already packed with kids and foods of all sorts, I sneak into the cafeteria, grab heaps of tubs of ice cream, then run back to the main hall, and sit with my friends. Aka, Xiomara, Ziani, jay and myself. we have a small group I guess.

Xiomara is in charge of the pizza, I'm always getting the ice cream that we shouldn't actually be eating, jay does the chips, while Ziani is no help and talks to other boys in our class.

We eat half the food we got, and put it back for next time. an idea hits me, making me think of cartoons wen a lightbulb appears above the characters heads to show they have an idea.

"Race you to the river," I shout, as we all take of running. pushing a kid out of my way, i scream a sorry behind me, then focus on running again. sprinting is definitely my sport.

We run for about 6 kilometres sprinting harder every time some body overtakes us, and now it is just us 4 in the heat, the rest of the class dropping out earlier. The sound of running water hits me, and I sprint my hardest, the others hot on my heals. the river comes into view, about 5 meters away.

From there, I take 4 giant leaps and cannon bolt into the freezing river. Jay, Xiomara and ziani entering right after me.

"Oh my god! it's so cold!" Ziani said,

Jay rolled his eyes at her then swore under his breath.

"Hey Josie," jay said. "By any change do you happen to have your phone in your pocket?" he asked.

I dug my hand into my pocket, feeling the cold familiar metal of my phone.

"Um, yeah why?" I asked. suddenly realisation hit me.

"God dammit!" I sad and me ad jay both threw our phones onto the field grass.

"What was that all about?" Xiomara asked. Suddenly she realised, and had a look of worry on her. Face as she two threw her phone out of her pockets, out of the water, and onto the grass next to ours.

A small smash sound seemed to be heard, I looked over her head, and fail for jay, but his an Xiomara's phones had collided and smashed.

"Wait, where's my phone," Ziani asked herself. "Hah, it fell out of your pockets!" Xiomara said.

"Don't just stand there, help me find it!" Ziani shouted.

we all ducked our heads under the water in search of Ziani's phone. although we were in normal clothes, it didn't bother us to get wet.

"Found it!" I screamed, catching my breath from being under water.

"Thank you so much! ill do anything to get that back," Ziani said.

"Any thing you say, huh," I said, and idea piping into my head.

"This can't be good, she's gonna dare you to-" Xiomara started, being cut off by me.

"Hang on a second Xiomara, I want the fun to say it," I smirked as my plan fell into place.

Jay shook his head at me, "don't do this to me," he pleaded. Jay wasn't just in this friendship group, he had guy-friends as well. And he definitely had an amazing reputation for being bad ass an not caring. so, he sure as hell didn't want me to ruin it.

"Ziani," i started, another smirk growing on my face. "jay, I double dare you two to........."
