The week flies by, a heavy icing of snow covering the ground, and the girl is trying to move quickly through the steady throng of people to reach the warmth of the coffee shop. Outside, the cellist is there, once again. She is wearing the same worn out jeans from the other week, paired with the old faded sweater the older girl had given her. Her pale golden hair is in a loose braid draped over her shoulder, light flakes of snow clinging to the rebellious strands that have escaped their neat formation.
The dark haired girl throws some money into the case and waits for her to finish playing. Introducing herself as Arabella, the older girl complements the blonde on her playing, asking about her teacher. The young girl seems surprised that someone is speaking to her, but nevertheless tells Arabella of her grandpa who had been in the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and taught her the art of music from a young age, leaving his cello for her. Backtracking, she realises she hasn't introduced herself. Blood rushing to her face, she apologises to Arabella, her name is Luna, and no, not Lovegood. Arabella was running a bit late this time, so Luna is already packing up. Inviting Luna into the coffee shop with her, Arabella orders a mochaccino for herself and a large hot chocolate for Luna, much to the blonde's surprise. Luna's wide blue eyes light up in delight as she takes her first sip of the delicious drink, thanking Arabella, who doesn't mind in the slightest. The two girls converse for a while, Arabella mentioning the idea of joining the youth orchestra. Luna seems happily surprised at the suggestion, telling the older girl that she would love to come along with her next week.
Finishing their drinks, the two girls part ways, waving their goodbyes, the promises of meeting again lingering sweetly in the cool air.// A/N Sorry the chapters are super duper short, but I hope you like it anyway, although I'll admit I'm not actually completely sure where I'm going with this story. //
