8. Back At It Again

*Michael's POV*

Seeing Naomii And Her Sister Everyday Is Really Driving Me Crazy. Naomii Avoids Me Every Time We See Each Other, But I'm Putting An End To That Today! She's Gonna Listen To What I Have To Say!

I Was Sitting In The Hotel Lobby As I Read The Newspaper And Sipped On My Drink. I Was Waiting For Naomii To Come Down So I Can Talk To Her. I'm Sure She's Still Upset With How I Left, But She Needs To Know That Her Father Is The Reason Why I Left The Way I Did. I Checked My Watch And Noticed It Was Close To Seven, Which Means I've Been Waiting In This Lobby For Almost Three Hours. I'm Sure Eli Will Be Calling Soon. I Was About To Order Me Another Drink, Until I Saw Naomii Stepping Off Of The Elevator. Well...Here Goes Nothing. I Approached Her And She Stopped Walking.

"Hey Naomii." I Said. She Rolled Her Eyes And Walked Passed Me.

"Naomii Wait." I Said, Gently Grabbing Her Arm.

"STRANGER DANGER! STRANGER DANGER!" She Yelled. I Pulled Her Into The Elevator Before She Caused A Serious Scene.

"Naomii Stop!" I Snapped.

"Fuck You Michael! What Do You Want?" She Asked.

"I Just Want To Talk To You And Explain What Happened A Few Months Ago." I Said.

"No Need. You And Your Brother Just Up And Left. Leaving Two Girls Heartbroken, But Clearly We Bounced Back." She Said. I Sighed.

"Look...The Way We Left Was Unacceptable, But It Was For Our Own Good. Not Just For Eli And Me, But For You And Your Sister As Well. I'm Not Gonna Apologize For Making A Smart Decision. We Did What We Did To Keep You Two And Ourselves Safe." I Said.

"Safe From What? What Are You Talking About?" She Asked.

"Your Dad." I Said.

"My Dad? What The Hell Does He Have To Do With Anything?" She Asked. The Elevator Stopped And A Few People Got On. I Pulled Naomii Off And We Walked Towards The Staircase.

"Your Dad Threatened To Expose Our Relationship If We Didn't Leave Town Immidiately. Somehow, He Knew We Were Still Talking, And He Knew About Your Sister And My Brother." I Said.

"I Don't Believe You." She Said. She Tried To Walk Off, But I Grabbed Her Arm.

"Naomii I Wouldn't Lie About This. You Know How I Felt About You. I Still Love You." I Said, Caressing Her Cheek.

"I Thought I Knew How You FELT About Me! Clearly I Was Wrong. Just Stay Away From Me." She Said. She Walked Out Of The Stairwell And Left Me Standing There. I Sighed And Pressed My Back Against The Wall. I Tried To Tell Her, But Of Course She Didn't Listen. What Do I Do Now? Then It Hit Me.

"Naomii! Naomii Wait!" I Yelled. I Ran Out Of The Stairwell, But Naomii Was Already Gone.

"Dammit!" I Snapped. I Hurried Towards The Elevator And Waited For One To Come. I'm Sure If I Showed Naomii The Threatening Note Then She'll Believe Me. There's Only One Problem Though...I Don't Know Where The Hell The Note Is!
