Chapter Nine-The First Date Pt. 1- Would You Like To?

I finally have made my decision. I was gonna ask Nicole out on a date. A friendly date, nothing more. Unless she wanted more.

A nice dinner and a movie. That is my offer to her. Any movie she desired and dining at any restaurant she wished. I hope she accepts.

I have been talking to her thorough the window every day since my second strike. Trying not to get too much of a blood lust that I slip again. I still get enough to go out and kill 5 and knock out 7 though.

I now feel I am strong enough to do this. So I pick out my best clothes. A nice button up shirts itch matching bow tie, khaki pants, and a sports jacket. I dress and comb my hair to the side. I smile at the mirror and I brush my teeth. Yeah, vampires have to do that too. Don't want bloody breath on a date now, do we.

I go back to my room and fix myself up one last time. I float over to her window and I'm about to knock on the pane. When I realize I forgot the flowers. So I hurriedly went inside, retrieved them and knocked.

She comes to the window and looks outside and sees me. A smile creeps upon her face. She opens the window and asks "Why so fancy Alex?". She gives me a very questioning look.

I say "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to officially go on a date with me?"

She looks at me and says "Sure, but do I have to dress up?"

I say "Nope, I'll change if you don't want to be dressed up."

She smiles and says "that would be great than." I smile back and float to my room. I gladly change into my more comfortable jeans and band shirt. Looks like my personalized band shirt today.

Just saying, this date will take about 3 chapters. Sorry peeps. Would have updated earlier, but we decided to play spin the blue solo cup and 2 minutes in heaven.
