Chapter 10

I was outside with Susan and Edmund.

"I can't believe he almost returned the white witch." Growled Edmund.

"Edmund we all make mistakes. He didn't seem to know what he was doing." I said.

"It's not the first time." Commented Susan. We all stayed in silence until Susan broke it.

"What happened when you left?" She asked. This got Edmonds attention.

"I went back to the castle. I thought maybe my headmaster could help. It won't outnumber the telmerines soldiers." I said.

"But it might help." Said Edmund.

"These are witches and wizards." Said Susan.

"Probably." I was looking out the Meadow.

"I think I should go see the rest of the Narnian's. I'll talk to you guys later." Said Edmund. Susan and I nodded as he entered the howl.

"So what's up with you and Caspian?" Asked Susan smirking rolled my eyes being reminded my Malfoy.

"Nothing is going on." I answered flatly.

"It's obvious you know. That you too like each other." I laughed.

"I think I'm the last one he would fancy." I said looking down. "I mean I'm a 13 year old witch who sleeps in a cupboard. What would he want with me?" I looked down. "I mean my own cousin calls me a freak."

"Your not a freak and i know your brother and you suffered while growing up but think about it I see the way he looks at you." she placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled at me.

"I don't know Susan. I just think we're not meant to be." I answered looking straight ahead.

"I wouldn't be too sure." She smiled at me and walked inside the howl. I sighed and stayed where I am.

I heard the sound of people talking and looked up seeing Caspian and his professor talking. His professor looking at me and smiled. I smiled back and looked ahead. I saw the view of people wearing black clocks and they were walking to the howl. They wear all wearing black expect one. Professor Dumbledore. Wearing his normal silver clock.

I smiled as they walked towards me. Than a centaur came out and saw my professors walking towards us.

"Is there a problem your majesty?" He asked. I smiled at him and shook my head.

"Not at all. Would you please call everyone out here we need to welcome our guests." He nodded and went inside. I looked at my professors in a thankful look.

"Anna we didn't come here alone." Said Dumbledore.

"What do you mean professor?" I asked confused. The professors stepped aside revealing my brother and my 2 best friends.

"No. What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.

"We came to help." Answer Harry. I looked at professor Dumbledore for an explanation.

"They insisted on coming. They want to help." He explained.

"This isn't funny business. This is an actual war. Not a giant snake." I explained.

"We're up for it." Harry said. I sighed knowing I won't win this.

"Fine."

"Anna?" Said the voice belonging to Peter coming out of the howl. He saw my professors and looked at me.

"I thought we'd use some more soldiers." I said flatly.

"It was our idea." Defended Susan and Edmund.

"No they have much right to be in this war as much as we do. There land is Narnian property making them Narnian's." I said. And peter nodded and Caspian looked down.

"Please come in." Susan escorted them to the howl and I stayed outside and went to the spot where Caspian and his professor sat just thinking things through.

"Would I be disturbing you if I sat with you." Asked a deep Mediterranean accent belonging to Caspian.

"No." I Answered. I felt him sit next to me.

"What are you thinking about?" I sighed and looked straight ahead.

"Just what I'd do after the war is over. Should I go back to school with my brother or should I stay." I answered.

"What were you thinking?" He asked looking down at me.

"If I go with my brother than I would go back to England and live with my aunt and uncle for the summer and their not good company to have around." I explained with a sigh.

"How so?" He asked.

"I am considered a freak back home because of who I am. They sometimes beat me. I couldn't tell my brother because they threatened that they would beat me more and worse. For some reason they are frightened by my brother." I explained and he had a harden expression.

"This place is my home. I came here during the summer was the first time I came here. " I continued.

"Can't you tell anyone? What about your headmaster." He suggested.

"It's ok I'm strong enough to handle them I sometimes use wand less magic in them and they don't know it. My gift was recently found out." He smiled at me. He wrapped him arm around my shoulder and kissed my forehead.

"Now I see why you were titled as the brave." I blushed and looked down. I then looked up to see soldiers but not ours. They were our enemies.

"Oh no" we both said and went down to the main entrance of the howl. I saw Susan and Lucy there than peter came with everyone else. We saw the soldiers come marching forward and so Miraz coming forward on his armor was different then the others. It was in the color gold.

"Everyone inside." I ordered and went inside with everyone following.
