Chapter 12

As we were on our horses as fast as we can we saw some soldiers running after as. I pulled the reign to go faster. Lucy and I looked through the trees to see a figure running next to us. I looked closer to see the figure was a lion.

The lion showed himself and roared causing Lucy and I to fall from our horses. We looked at the lion and he jumps over us a on the telmerines soldier and ate him. We slowly walked to the lion to see him smiling at us. I smiled back as Lucy beamed at him.

"Aslan!!" We both beamed at we ran to him and hugged him causing us to knock him to the ground with us going with him.

"I knew it was you. The hole time I knew it, but the others didn't believe me. Well except for Anna she always has hope." She told him and I smiled at her.

"Than why would that stop you from coming to me?" He asked.

"I'm sorry I guess I was afraid." She said looking down.

"All that matters is that your here now. Both of you." He smiled at me. "You have done well Anna."

"Thank you Aslan." I said.

"Why didn't you show yourself? Why wouldn't you show up and roar like last time." Lucy asks sadly.

"Thing never happen the same way twice dear one." He answered calmly

"If I had come earlier would the others still be alive." She asked.

"We'll never know." He said. "But now I believe that we have to go back to the others."

"Will you help this time?" Lucy asked.

"Of course and so will you." He exclaimed.

"Oh I wish i was a bit more braver." Lucy said.

"If you were any braver would you would be a lioness." He smiled at her.

"Lucy there is different kinds of brave. There is the bravery in helping other and there is bravery in fighting for what's right." I told her and she nodded.

"Now I believe your friends have slept long enough don't you. Anna can you help me." I nodded and used me palms to preform a spell and the trees started to move.

"Anna I believe you are needed back in the field." I nodded and rode one of the trees taking me to the field.
