They were completely different. One believed in exploring the various possibilities in life, other resided to living in her own shell. Klaus was one of those people who made you believe that you knew everything about him but in reality, you know very little about them, only what they chose to show the world. Anna on the other hand was a free mind. She was a person who would give someone hundred chances before they finally left her. She saw the good in people. She saw the hidden light that people themselves refused to acknowledge. While the world wondered why she chose to be close to someone completely wound up in an infinite cycle of misery, she fetched the little hope she saw in that person and helped them break their own shells. Then she was alone. Because why would the now-healed people be with someone who helped them heal? Too dramatic it would be, right? But Anna didn't change. She remained the eternal sunshine she was, loved by everyone, yet alone. Anna was not afraid of the dark. She was sure that there would be one ray of light that would wipe out the darkness and bring happiness. Her faith helped her survive. But she knew deep within that someday in search of that light, she would be engulfed by the darkness. She was afraid of that day. She was afraid of that darkness.
Klaus was a man one would die for. Sharp features, charming personality, deep black eyes that leaked of mystery, perfect jawline, strong muscles and an impressive dressing sense. He was perfect in every manner. As charming as he was, he was not a person to be meddled with. Klaus didn't believe in second chances. He recognised the bad in people before one could figure them out and had a knack for discovering their deepest secrets. He saw the worst in them and stuck to it. Klaus knew how perfectly one could hide behind masks of lies and betrayal as he too owned a few of them.
Klaus never knew that one person could change him. That Anna would unfold all his layers and awaken the beautiful person within him. But fate had its way of playing with things. That one breakfast at the 'Morning Perk café' changed Klaus and Anna's life forever.
