Marie's POV
"For our damaged hearts! Cheers!" I shouted.
"Cheers!" All replied.
"Let's drink until sunrise!!!"
"Whooooooo~~~~" they shout back.
I'm Marie C. Simpson. 17 years old, living independently on my own. I moved out from our house when I was 14 and now even though we are still in highschool, my friends and I are currently having a small party in my house. We're trying to drown ourselves from alcohol to forget and ease the pain inside us a little.
"Aahh~~ shiiiittttt~~ I whish I...have two hearts insteadoffsshh.... one" - Kim
"He issshh sssoo~~ stupid. Ssstupid. Stupid. Hahaha! Vewy vewy sss.. Stupid like me" - Jane
"whhhyy oh whyyy~~ duss it have to ve my boyfriend's best friend? Huh?! Whyyy? Someone tell me?!" - Kate
"Howe didet come~ tso thesh?"

"Whye him, huh?! Hahaha~~ myish stupid little hawrt, don't you no it's vewy vewy~ impossible? Zoo pease stop liking him, will ya?" - Patricia
"Can someone pease tell my heart not tso keep on fawing for him. I'm begging you. Itsshhh~ vewy painful you know that~~ tso keepon wayding for him to take me zzzzeriously" - Cindy
All of them are very drunk already to the point where they keep on whining about what they feel. Their hearts are aching like mine. They have been like that for hours and I know that because I wasn't that drunk yet. I still have control over myself. By now in a normal scenario I should be laughing because of the way they speak but I can't even bring myself to smile. I'm all tired so I lean my back on the sofa, my head facing above then I close my eyes thinking about him. "If only our world is the same then maybe, just maybe we can be together" I said as the tears escaped from my eyes.
"LOVE"
Everyone has their own meaning to this word. In the dictionary it is described as a strong feeling or affection for someone. Well, that's true. As for me, it is a simple word that when felt and given action can cause a lot of emotion. For others they say that it is like a rosary full of mysterious and I was thinking that love is a mystery for those who haven't felt or found it yet and sometimes a curse to those who fail to obtain it. Yeah its a mystery, a big one I say unless if you want to unlock and discover the mysteries that it holds.
In addition, they say when you're in love you will have the feeling of having "butterflies" in your stomach 'cause all the emotion like fear, joy, sad, anger and pain can be felt at once more like of a 3 in 1 coffee. Literally speaking love can be compared to a coffee because it must be not so bitter and not so sweet just the right mix but unfortunately it isn't.
Human compares love to almost anything but the truth is love can't be compared to things. Why? Simple. Love isn't a food that can be eaten, isn't a beverage that we can drink, and most of all love isn't a thing that we can touch. Love and air are alike though because we cannot see it but we can feel it. Just like air, love never fades its always there you just have to accept it. By the way, love comes in many forms like friendly love, sisterly/brotherly love, parental love, puppy love or admiration and etc. So don't go saying "I will never love again" just because you're hurt, you're lying to yourself cause sooner or later if the right person for you comes without doubt you will surely fall in love again. Everyone has the capability to love and the right to be loved so when you're heart is tired just let it take a rest for a while then after when its been energized learn to love again.
Therefore, love is not 'just' a strong emotion but more beyond that because it can take you to either a magical world or to a dangerous one. Furthermore, it is not all about happiness nor pain but the sacrifices you made to fight for it. Falling in love isn't easy, there will always be challenges to test the limits of your love for each other. The weaker you get, problems becomes harder the stronger you get the better. Different persons, different emotions and different experiences. In the end this crazy feeling that we had called "love" is quite complicated.
Due to this crazy but sweet feeling that takes us on cloud 9, Is where the story of our painful yet memorable experience that gives us different kinds of lessons about love begins.
Note....
Sorry for the grammar.
To those who don't agree with what I wrote about love I understand that you have your own perspective and to those who agree, thank you.One more thing, the names of the characters are a bit fictional.
