Brill's POV

Ann's a bit down.

"Brill, do you like Ann?" - Guy

"W-what?! W-why did you ask?"

"You're always looking at her"
- Guy

*sigh*

"If you do, then tell her. Be a man and do it" - Guy

"But if i do tell her and she rejects our friendship might..."

"Tsk. Just be honest with your feelings, dude. You wouldn't know her answer anyway if you keep it to yourself" - Guy

Ann's POV

Brill ask me to meet up him in the GS and now that I'm here his not here. He said he has something important to say.

"Hey! Did you wait long?" - Brill

"I just arrive. What are you going to say?"

"Um..you look sad in class, are you fine now?" - Brill

"Yeah, it was nothing. I'm perfectly fine now"

"Good to hear that" - Brill

. . .

He didn't speak for 1 minute.

"Brill?"

"Ye-yes?" - Brill

"Do you still have something to say? If you don't have then let's go buy some bread in shobee. I'm already hung-"

"I LIKE YOU!" Brill shouted. 0-0.

7:00 pm

"Mom, I'll sleep over at my friends place!"

"Is that friend of yours a boy?"
- Mom

"Of course not! I'll sleep at Marie's house"

"Oh, okay. Be careful on your way" - Mom

After 15 minutes of traveling I'm already outside Marie's door.

*knock 3x*

"Coming" I heard footsteps getting closer to the door then it opened with Marie's confused face. "What.are.you.doing.here?"

"Hang out? I bring food"

"Okay"

While Marie's preparing the foods in the kitchen I was thinking of whether telling Marie what happened or not.

"So what do you want to talk about?" - Marie

"What are saying? Im just here to hang out"

"You're not here just because you want to hang out. Now spill it out" - Marie

"I want to ask you, what would you do if your best friend, not between us girls but your guy best friend tells you that he likes you for a long time but you never really thought of him as becoming your lover? Okay, maybe sometimes you thought its impossible for him to fall for you when it's not"

"Why?" - Marie

"Just answer it. Stop asking why you have to"

"Okay~ okay. I'm confused why would you say its impossible but not?" - Marie

"Because...he's your best friend?"

Her eyebrows raise. "I get it now. Did Brill told you he likes you, perhaps?" Marie said.

"W-w-what? How d-did you kno- I mean no! No! He doesn't see me that way, I think" I whispered the part when i say 'I think' but seems like Marie's got a good sense of hearing.

"So he did" - Marie

I tried to argue with her to deny the fact but she's smiling like 'whatever you say it won't work so just 'fess up'.

I sighed. I close my eyes telling her the truth. "Fine. He did"

Now she's smiling like she wins over something. "Did you tell him you 'like' him too?"

"No"

"What? Then you rejected him?"
- Marie

"I didn't either"

"What did you say then?" She asked while pouring some juice on her cup and drink it.

"I didn't say anything at all. I ran away instead right after he confess" she choked out.
*cough* *cough* "You okay?" I ask tapping her back.

"What do you mean 'you ran away'!? Really? Hahahaha~ that is very hilarious!" Marie keeps on laughing. I thought she'll be surprise.

"I don't know what I'm supposed to do or what I'm gonna say. That's why I'm here for you to tell me what should I do to his feelings for me?"

This time its her turn to sighed. "It your life, not mine. He's your best friend, not mine. Your own feelings, not mine" - Marie

"But I never expect him to like me. Maybe before but 'that' was before"

"Have you watch the movie entitled 'Valentine's Day'?"
- Marie

Is Marie trying to avoid the topic? "Nope" I answered.

"In the movie, the main guy owns a flower shop. That day it was valentines and his girl best friend came to his shop to order flowers, they were very very close to each other. On the same day the main guy proposed to his long-time girlfriend but unfortunately she choose her career over him so they broke up. That night the main guy went home together with one of his co-worker. He saw how successful the marriage life of his friend so he ask him, 'how did you and your wife get it so right?'. Did you know how his friend's response?" - Marie

I shrugged.

"His friend say it like this, 'easy, I married my best friend" - Marie

I look at her in confusion. She smiled.

"Forget about the marriage. What I want you to know is that why don't you try liking him too, it might work out besides you also mention that 'sometimes' you also think of him as more than a friend" - Marie

I hesitated. "What if we wouldn't work out? Then our friendship might fall apart and I don't want that"

"If you're afraid to lose your friendship with him, don't be because both of you are just being honest with your feelings and there's nothing wrong with that. He confessed first anyway so I think he also know the consequences bit still he take the risk. Whatever the outcome is then so be it at least your still friends, their is still a connection. I'll just prepare your bed since you didn't give a notice that you're coming" - Marie

"Okay, Thank you" I said in a low voice.

"By the way, he must be sad right now because you ran away without a word. He will think you rejected him. You should go and talk to him about what you truly feel if you have time" she said before going upstairs.

"Ughh... Tiring"

Marie's POV

I was really shocked that someone confess to Ann. I never expected it nor thought of it. Most of all when she said 'she ran away' I was really amused by that.
