Case 1

"Love comes unexpectedly"

Eunice's POV

Tsk. What a day. I was late first in the morning, Mrs. Torre scolded me, too many assignments and on top of that I haven't found the girl that I met yesterday. I hope to know her name. I really like her. The truth is I get more attracted and more interested in girls than boys.

"Hey! Let's go have window shopping" - Cindy asked everyone with a tone of excitement in her voice.

"Aren't you tired? It's so hot to walk around" - Kim complain wiping her sweat off. Cindy pouted.

"I think Cindy's idea is great. We can go there to have free aircon" - Kate smiling as usual.

I stop listening to their conversation and start thinking what might her name be.

"HEY!! Eunice!" Ann's voice bring me back to reality.

"W-what?" I asked.

"I'm asking you if you want to come with us" - Ann

"Oh...I'm going"

We're strolling around the mall for almost half an hour. I want to go home already but they all look so happy I don't want to interrupt. "Might as well enjoy myself" I murmured. We happen to pass by a women's boutique so we take a stop for a while. My eyes wander around the place and I saw a very attractive girl wearing the same uniform as I am. "That's her" Gosh! I saw her! I'm so happy! I keep on staring at her. She's with her classmates and they went inside a food bar. Tsk. So they're hungry? ...... *evil grin*

"Guys! I'm hungry! Lrets go grab some food!" I shout with excitement.

"What happened to you?" - Ria with a confused look in her face.

"Why?"

"A while ago you're a bit down" - Ria

"Well, uhm... I was just really really hungry"

"Is that so? Then where should we eat?" - Ria

Kim was going to answer when I shouted." Food bar!" Pointing my finger to where 'she' entered.

"But we always eat at star bucks" - Kim

"For a change of course. You know, try something new"

"Well, Eunice's choice. Let's go" - Marie.

Yosh!! I owe you one Marie.

When we entered, I looked around the place and I wasn't that bad in fact it's nice.

"Whoa? What a coincidence. Jam's here with his friends" - Patricia

That clumsy stupid is here. "Where?" My eyes looking for him.

"At the table near the grill" she pointed out.

0_0. Whoa! Wait! I didn't it before but they're friends.

I can sense that Jam can feel we are talking about him when hr suddenly notice us.

"Hey! Guys!" He shouted waving at us causing his other friends to look this way including her. He excused himself and came running towards us.

"Why are you here?" - Jam asked.

"Hunting elephants" I said with a poker face. Marie elbowed me. "What? Its obviously a stupid question" that's the truth though. Sometimes Jam's stupidity is getting on my nerve.

"Hmmm?" - Jam

"Never mind her. We are here to eat. Eunice is hungry" - Marie

"Is that so? Why don't you join us?" - Jam invited. Huh? That's it. So Jam isn't so stupid at all.

"We might be a bother to your friends" - Marie. WHAT!!! 0_0

"No, I insist" - Jam.

Marie's still on the verge of 50/50. Come on just accept it!

"The more the merrier" - Jam added.

"If you insist why not" - Marie said. YES!

"Guys, I want you to meet Eunice, Marie and friends"

"Hi, I'm ivy. Glad to meet you" Waahhh.... So her name is Ivy.

"H-hi. You're name suites you" I said out of the blue.

"Hahaha! Thank you" - Ivy.

She laughed because of me. So cute! Nice move, Eunice.

Its quarter to 6 when we decided to go home. We bid goodbye to each other but I pull Jam towards me.

"Jam, can I ask you a favor?"

"Sure! Anything!" He said cheerfully.

I took a deep breath. "I like Ivy. A lot. Can you help me uhm...get her attention? You can set us up. He was a bit astonish by that. "Please?"

"Ye-yeah. Why not? Well then see you tomorrow"

"Thank you"

He smiled and waved. Something's off but who cares I'm so happy. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Jam's POV

Because of Eunice I wasn't able to sleep well. "ughhh..." I feel like a zombie.

"Hey! Cheer up!" Eunice shouted and tap my back. She seems very happy this morning. Good thing. "Oh, yeah. Let's meet at GS after class"

I smiled. I know that Eunice is boyish and she likes girls note than boys. I love to see her smile that's why as her friend I always support her but right now it's a different thing. My heart feels heavy, I wonder maybe I'm just tired.

Eunice's POV

5 minutes. . .
8 minutes. . .

"Where are you?"

"Right here" someone said behind my back.

"I'm waiting here like forever! Where have you been?" I'm a bit annoyed at him for letting me wait.

"Chill. Its my cleaning schedule" Tsk. "Okay now, let's go buy stuff"

"Buy stuff? For who?"

"Ivy. I got a plan on how to set you up"

"Really?! Mind telling me?"

"Its supposed to be a secret" *puppy eyes* "Fine! Stop that!"
I smiled. "Tomorrow at 4 pm come here and wait for us. I'll ask Ivy to come here with me then I'll excuse myself telling her I left something at the room right after that I'll text you and that's your cue"

"Brilliant! So you use your brain sometimes,huh?"

"Hey! Below the belt"

"Opss.. Sorry"

We are in the gift shop right now. Looking for something that Ivy will like. Jam was looking on the side with bracelets while I am in the side with stuff toys.

"Jam! Do you think she'll like this?" showing him the one that I picked.

He hesitated. "That's kind of......why did you choose that?" His face shows he didn't like it.

"What's wrong? Shriek is cute!" I protested.

"You're going to give the girl you like a 'shriek' stuff toy with a 'you' word on its belly. Are you kidding me?! I would prefer the puss in boots than that" - Jam

"But..." before I could say something he snatched shriek away from me and replace it with puss in boots. I pouted.

I saw him smile while staring at me. "You're still a girl at heart, eh? Hahhaha!!" He laugh.

That's the first time I heard him laugh like that and that's no good. I can feel my cheeks getting hot. "Whatever, stupid!" I punch him right in the stomach. I heard him say 'oww'.

"Eunice! Wait!" He shouted but I didn't stop so he grab my elbow. "Here for you!" He gave me to paper bags: the other is the puss in boots while the other one is the shriek.

"Shriek is for you. You like it right? See ya!" Then he run.

I should see a doctor. Maybe I need a check up.
