Brandon POV
Today was another normal day, just another normal day. Track in the
afternoon, with extra football practice after that. I said goodbye to
Justin, leaving him in Mr. Klockens creative writing class. I don't
know why he took that class, writing is already boring.
I glued myself to the wall, staring at the ground, trying to avoid
all these flirtatious glances from all those girls. I quickened my
pace entering Mr. Babcock's class. He was already standing at the
door, his eyes as sharp as an eagle's, eager to give anyone a tardy.
I sat down at my seat near the front of the classroom. That
annoying bell rang, and Mr. Babcock came in, with Sarina looking
ghastly and ashamed following. She sat down next to me, quietly
putting her binder under her desk. Mr. Babcock was turned toward the
whiteboard, so I quickly turned towards to Sarina.
"What happened?" I asked quietly. She opened her mouth to reply,
but Mr. Babcock caught me before she could say anything.
"Detention, Mr. Smith!" I swear, he has eyes on the back of his
head. "With Ms. Johnson, in my room, at 4:00pm today." NOOOOOOOOOO
THAT'S WHEN EXTRA PRACTICE FOR FOOTBALL STARTS.
"Mr. Babcock, surely I could have detention a different time?" I
asked panickedly.
"No, I don't think I would be able to manage that." LIAR
UGHHHHHHHHH. I slump in my seat. And stay like that for the rest of
the period.
Sarina POV
I can't believe Justin hated having detention with me so much! I
slouched, as the last bell rang. I packed up.
