"I'm so sorry dad" I spoke softly my voice was sore. It happened to.....to fast. My brother walks up to me. He sits down next to me. I reluctantly look at his deep purple eyes. He gives me a slight smile.

"I'm sorry, I've should have helped you fight him" he said his smile fades into a scowl. He isn't the kind of guy who you see not smiling.

"It is not y-you fault. That......ugh..." I begin to cry. He raps me in his arms, he is cold but it comforts me. He glides his paw up and down my back.

"I will never let anybody hurt my family" I pull away from him, still keeping close. Rubbing my eyes.

"You p-promise..." I stuttered my voice harsh.

"I promise" he rubbs a little tear down my face.

I turn to see monsters coming out of there hiding places. A lot of them had the look of horror on their faces. I see a familiar face. It was my dear friend Sapphire. She came rushing over to us.

"OMG, you ok! Why did you fight " she said in concern. I look over to where my dad's dead body laid. She stares in horror. She turns to my brother and i. Sorrow filled her light pink eyes.

"I'm so sorry...." she said. I look at my dad once more, monsters gathered around him in grief.

Who was that man? Why did he fight my dad?

I want know. I need to know.

I don't be merciful,but I don't want to be genocide.

It was clear what I had to do.

"I need to find that man" I said they look at me crazy.

"Why?....he can kill you" my brother said.

I shrug," I-I don't know, I just need to find him. I am leaving tomorrow. And that is final" I stated, I was filled with determination to find this MURDERER.

"Well, if you are going so am I" Sapphire said hope filled her voice. I look at my brother he obviously doesn't want me to leave. But, he nodded his head yes.

"I will come." He replied, he seems to be talking to himself then to us. "I need to tell mom" and he walked into the crowd of people who made a muck of despair in the air.

"Are you sure you are coming. It could be dangerous." She lets out a slight smirk, "How bad can it be".

For the rest of that day we spent fixing the town, no one smiled no one laughed. No one was determined. I could feel that everyone is sad of our great legend. My dad, he would always tell us stories of his adventures. I can smell his sweet sent of maple around his dead body. His laugh when we goof around, he never stopped smiling. They are all good memories, but now they feel like nightmares.

At the end of the day we sent him off on a raft. With blue orchids all around him. He said it was his favorite flower. They are mine to. We all watch him drift in to the mist. I miss him. PrO

It was the next day. Still people did not enjoy anything. For the residence of the man.

"Bye mom" I said grabbing my bag of supplies for or journey. She runs up to me.
