I teleported to the nearest Macdonalds for refreshments, which yes, I do need to eat. I was just wolfing down a burger when I saw the same guy I knocked out. Damn. He turned and saw me, his eyes widening at me. "Hey!" he yelled. He ran at me . I swore and got up, pushing away another random dude, who stared at me with an indignant "Oi". I ignored him and pushed my way out. As soon as I pushed open the door, I teleported.
Teleporting is a weird thing. Its like blinking and and suddenly you are in another place.Thats how it is to me anyways. I turned up at a place you probably haven't heard of before, Grimsby town. Grimsby is a small place, perfect for people who want to lay low. Unless you got overly friendly with people and everyone seems to know you as soon as you step into the bar. Oh, and its in England. I came for a specific reason. The town was actually the headquarters of the Shadowhunters, a group dedicated in fighting and wiping out monsters. Most of us are half human, half god. We've got some children of Zeus, Thor, and I'm the only son of Lucifer. Well, only Lucifer is supposed to even have kids, of all the Christians immortality, and sorry to all Christians reading this, I know its offensive, god bless your soul and all. We also have a son of Loki, the Viking god of deception. I know Loki is supposed to be evil, but his kids are actually pretty nice, unlike their father.
I walked into a bar and went to the barman. The barman was in fact a son of Ares on gaurd duty called Rex. "So, whaddaya want?"He asked." I want to kick your ass off" "Yea right." He rolled his eyes and muttered into an invisible microphone in his ear. I grinned and walked through the doors of the bar into the kitchen, but actually sidestepping into a not so secret evalator in the side, not actually. The evelator wasn't actually hidden, but as far as most people were concerned, it was just there to transport food.I pressed my thumb on the close doors button and it scanned my finger. It shuddered and jerked downwards.
The doors opened into what looked like a very odinary and modern day office, divided into cubicles.I walked past a pair of twin girls. The older one looked up and flashed me a brilliant smile. She looked like those supermodels you see all the time on TV, and was tanned and wore glasses. Her name was Cassandra, daughter of Aphrodite. Her twin sister, Lissa was pale and blond, in contrast to her brown hair and tanned skin. I smiled back and walked on, a stupid grin plastered on my face. Yes, I admit that I have a crush on her, BUT, that ain't the point.
