Everything came back to normal, well except my class schedule. It stayed the same after I changed it. Tracy and I even had more adventures together after deciding of being discreet.

After our first year of College, we celebrated together after being two of the top students in the University. It was already a great achievement. We may not be the #1 but we still excelled. We had a mountain climbing at a venturesome peak. When we got to the top, it could be the most amazing view I have ever seen. I could even spot small buildings at the next island.

"Look at this Tracy, someone's pooping in the river!" I teased him, as I was using my telescope since he left his. But there is actually no one pooping. I just love teasing this guy. He doesn't say anything but his face says it all!

We stayed on top until dusk and decided to camp there since it's dangerous to go down from a mountain at night. Tracy showcased his "boy scout prowess" and it impressed me. He even made a bonfire.

We sat in front of the bonfire and talked about several things: our future, the future of each of our family's company, we even thought of solutions to fix the gap between our dads. But in the end, we only laughed about it. It is that difficult.

"It's colder here than in the mountaintop, huh." I told him in a shaky voice while hugging myself.

"I'm sorry I decided to stay." He said and grabbed a blanket from his bag, then wrapped it around me.

"Thank you. You know, I am so thankful to have you in my life. It's only you who makes me feel happy, contented and not alone. You are like a brother to me. I hope you stay forever in my life." I am not this cheesy but yes, I told him that.

He smirked and looked at me in the eyes. He said, "I have been waiting for this moment. We've been bestfriends for years. I have no other friend but you---"

My phone rang.

"I'm sorry, excuse me for a while. I have been trying to contact my mom. Good thing there's a signal right now."

I stood up and answered the call.

"Hello, mom?"

"Where are you?"

"I'm here with Tracy. Why?"

"Go home! Right now!!!" My mom shouted, as if in panic.

"Please, obey me. At least this time." My dad interrupted my mom and said those words in a calm and worried voice.

---- the line was cut. There was no signal again. I wonder what's wrong but I must go home.

I went back to our tent and talked to Tracy.
