Writing Prompt #63
Have you been out of your character's head for too long? Take the last scene that you wrote and rewrite it as an excerpt from your character's journal. Whether your story is written in first person or third, this will help you get into your character in a unique way. Rather than writing in the moment, you are writing the character's perception of the situation after it has occurred. Which parts of the incident and / or conversation stood out to him enough to make it into his journal entry, and why is this so? What are his feelings about what took place?
