Prologue

Sanity is like a ticking time bomb, eventually, the time comes to an end...

Sarah Wilkinson is a shy girl in the eyes of her fellow pupils at John Wilson's secondary school in Yorkshire.
She's sixteen and seen as the 'freak show' of the school, for liking metal, having several different piercings and black and red hair. 

She goes through life being tourmented by pretty much anyone who crosses paths with her, including her own family.

You see, Sarah has a funny little life, she was adopted when she was just three months old by an elderly couple. She never called them 'Mum' or 'Dad' she called them 'Nan' and 'Grandad.'

Her Nan passed away from lung cancer when she was nine, so she's been brought up by her Grandad, nice, you think.
Well, ever since her Nan passed away, her Grandad has been a heavy drinker, which makes him abusive towards her, he pulls her hair out, punches her, slaps her and more.

But it's not just her Grandad who attacks her, everyday at school, she gets ganged up on by the popular kids, she has no friends and keeps herself to herself.
She has pretty much anything thrown at her, but she's used to it by now.
She's becoming tired of life, being mocked and more...

Her life is destined to fail, or so she thinks.
